no no no no no no no no. Not again. Not ever again. Please.
why does the repetitive piano melody sound so trite?? where have I heard this before....
Please please please stop. I'm begging you now; --d
Please please please take this out of the rotation for a while... I have to turn off RP every time it's played, and that makes me sad. Before I just rated it a 3 because it was very "meh"... but considering the "turn off RP" side-effect it induces, I've lowered the rating... --d
Yes, she has a nice voice; but this song is horrible. The droning piano drive's me nuts (and it's completely lifted from that classical riff used in the omen -dah, dah, dah duh and so on). Just not very interesting, and it's a shame because she can sing. P.S. I also concur with the previous post
You know, this is the kind of song I would normally like: kind of haunting, girl with operatic voice flexes skills... But I just hate it. So far, I hate everything I've heard from them. It melodramatic, but leaves you with nothing. I'll take Miranda Sex Garden over this, thank you.

Maybe it's just the wax buildup you seem to have in there. Flush with water and lie down for a while. Maybe you'll feel better.
I am surprized at how low this song is rated, too. I suppose enough people say 'Oh- it's that Bring me to Life band- corporate whores!' and click '1' without listening to it. Truth is I didn't bother to look to see who this was until the 2nd or 3rd time I heard it, and I was not expecting to see some power pop-rock name crop up. I'm definitely interested in what else they have to offer.

Very good. I keep expecting rap-rock to kick in but thankfully it doesn't. I bet it won't be long until she goes solo.

is it just me, or is this song's rating taking a nose dive of late (had to up mine one point to offset that... hate for this to be taken out of rotation all together; I love her voice but am getting tired of the same two songs the radio is beating to death, this is a nice change from those two and the couple others I have MP3s of).

Because it sucks. It really, really sucks badly! Really. It's really, really true. (Where's that damned thesaurus?)
Holy crap!!! That really hurts my ears!

ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Dreary and draggy, and it goes on and on.
Beautiful, haunting tune. The vocals are amazing. The piano is beautiful as well.

They are indeed from Little Rock, Arkansas.

I agree. I liked the song enough to get the CD, then found it was the weakest track BY FAR. How about some other cuts, Bill -- "Everybody's Fool" for example, or "My Immortal" if you like the slower stuff? (BTW y'all, their songs are online at evanescence.com)
Her voice still just blows me away!

I am waiting for the hair on the back of my neck to settle back down.....WOW, what a powerfull voice. love it, love the CD

I second that Ferret. Bought it for my daughter but I quite like it myself. She has a beautiful voice. The old hippies need to partake and give it a real listen...lol.
I agree. I just increased my rating to 10 to dispel the heathen hoardes! ...as for the Lionel Richie fanclub, I'm going to upload MORE Evanesence and we'll see how you like that, uh, ehy? ...hahaha... I smell fear!! ;-)

Why is this song rated so low! Wake up people! :) I know people are turned off by a lot of the new bands out there, but this band is different. What makes them different? They are actually musical. Take all of the other bands out there now, and they sound so similar it makes me barf. Beautiful music, beautiful voice, and well put together all around. Thanks Radioparadise :) The last song I would expect to hear, but so glad I did.

Unfortunatly, one of the worst songs on the album. Ok, lets focus on a song which makes the lead singer look bad. There are better choices to pick from... Jason

beautiful song... what an incredible voice... never heard a voice like that in years

Although the complete whoring of their tune on FM has made me cringe even at the mention of their name, she does have a wonderful voice. Unfortunately, it doesn\'t make up for the lack of substance in tunes like this.
I\'ve seen this group live. I\'ll admit that she has a good voice and the band excels at hard rock. They just don\'t work together.
If you like this song and can appreciate her voice and the band\'s style, then you will most likely enjoy the album. The radio has overplayed Bring Me to Life, but that doesn\'t detract from enjoying the CD. A group with a lot of potential. Each time I listen to the CD, I can\'t help but think to myself \"Wow! What a great CD\".

Can't agree more. Make sure not to swallow your tongue should you actually pay attention to what she's singing. Simple solution is for her to sing in French. Or make up a language, like Sigur Ros. Fabulous idea.
Bill?? UK?? I thought they were from Arkansas??
this song is so different from other songs on this CD. it proves how good a voice she has. sometimes singers get put into a box, which isn't fair. that's why you have to listen to as much diversity as you can. what better source than RP??
she just needs to chill

I like the contrast of her voice and the music. To bad commercial radio will pimp them out.
I think this is an interesting new group. I love that she has this beautiful, clear voice, and then it\'s paired up with hard rocking guitar at times.
I'm still mad that they ripped off Lacuna Coil :(
anti-depressants all around......... but yet rather haunting........... my soul does cry out.........
I love this song because it has some of that special \"charm\" a lot of the early-mid \"goth\" stuff had. I like introspective stuff anyway with reference to the lyrics, and feel this song is throughly deserving of RP air-time. I also like Tourniquet which Bill rejected :( ...and Haunted, which I didn\'t upload.

Radio overplay of their current single has left me a bit jaded towards this group. Nevertheless, this isn't bad, and I'd like to hear a bit more of their work.
I hope this ends soon, I\'m running out of rating to drop to.
Evenescence on RP... it's about time.
Just can say enough good things about these guys...one of the most original combinations of musical genres in some time...Faith No More meets October Project? Nice!
