This and some other TC songs remind me of the group Thunderball.  I just did some digging on Wikipedia to see if they had any connection, and found that the guy who plays guitar and sitar on tour with TC is in a group with some of the guys from Thunderball.  I don't think they've had any songwriting input, but I definitely hear the influence on the "funkier" TC tunes.
I bet there is a lot of different listeners out there that might like it.  Perhaps
I love TC, but this is not one of their better efforts. 6

Perhaps...though "easy" does not necessarily mean "bad".

well it depends Stingray, when you dance on this, instead of just listening it does groove -
one of their weaker songs!

Incredible drum beat!
Actually this is from "The Outernational Sound" - disc is great to have on your workout list. Or at a casual party where your guests start tapping their toes uncontrollably....

This is a decent song but there are better songs on this album... Check it out if you have a chance...

I find most of TC's output to be very formulaic. This isn't any different from 90% of their other tracks. I have their first two discs in my collection, but I hardly play them.
brilliant! I'd like the lyrics.
Thievery Corporation = smooth cool grooves. \:D/
not my favorite Thievery Corp., but I'll stand by them.
Sounds like the music they used for those aerobics exercise videos, back in the 1970s. That's not a good thing.
Sounds like a letter from IKEA-toy division... Oh, wait , that's LEGO Communique....

Superdiggable.
These guys can do no wrong by me... but "The Mirror Conspiracy" is the CD I like best. Gorgeous vocals. Nice to hear this kind of stuff!

why isn't there any songs by kruder and dorfmeister...? I ask again...
this one doens't quite do it for me today. but still nice and upbeat. I'd rather be up-beat than beat-up. And let's not even talk about off-beat!
I love Thievery corp. Play more more! :heartkiss:
Very hip. I like the name of the band also. It sounds kind of relevant to todays world.

What a great soundtrack for a friday at the workplace!
just caught myself dancing around the office. :moon:
I like the song very much, but the title sounds like a Tom Clancy or Robert Ludlum novel. I think they could have done better.
smokin\' instrumental interlude :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
