Just horrible.

Of course there has to be a Dr. Downer in every crowd {#Ass}
I love these guys. Too bad they aren't still around.

Great piece! Speedy allright.... but it's got a couple of MP3 borks in it.

I'm not hearing Bjork in there at all.

I second that.

The last time I saw Commander Cody was in the 80s sometime.  George left the stage, came and sat at the table with me and my date, picked up my whiskey sour and drank it.  I was only half amused, even though I'm a *huge* fan!

Did I upload this one? Can't remeber. Love these guys!
Awesome. What a pleasant surprise.
No single on Amazon  :-(
At first, I thought this was Les Paul.
Didn't know you can do that with a pedal steel guitar... {#Eek}

play on and on, now this is really music

I think this is terrific! RP, would it be possible to list the release date of these albums, so listeners can judge them based on when they came out?

According to AMG 1950-1953. Pretty cool.

Jeez, it's virtuoso day on RP. I am humbled by the chops on display in the last couple hours.
Too many notes . . .
Great up-tempo number!
the best/worst thing about RP is that they really take the time to find great stuff (and the listeners submit great stuff) that I can't always go instantly download! This song totally rocks and it will be mine!

I guess he took weekends off to play live.
Thought it was Danny Gatton... but like it just as much. Thanks Bill!
i love it!
this is why I listen to RP and no other stations...who could come up with such interesting material? Rock on, RP!

Zevon was just giving me shite... that was a year or two before the song ever got played!

I uploaded "Frettin' Fingers" and got a "Sorry" a couple of years ago. Glad this one got accepted, by whomever uploaded it. Great stuff from the 50s.
Reminds me of Dan Hicks and his Hot Licks. Tasty!
Very nice! 8.
Holy isht, how have I never heard of either of these guys? This is AWESOME!
Six thousand recordings in about 5 years? Wow. I'm doing the math here, and...wow.
Well, shee-it! I missed it!
Didn't I already rate this a year ago or something?

Sadly, this song has never been played on RP. (browsing song comments is cool, tho.)

Hey! Rockabilly Hall of Fame wrote:
Between 1950 and 1955, Speedy (with and without Bryant) played on over 6,000 recordings with a total of 177 different artists. Some of those artists include Frankie Laine, Jo Stafford, and Paul Weston's Orchestra, Billy May's Orchestra, Betty Hutton, Helen O'Connell, Doris Day, Johnnie Ray, Ella Mae Morse, Spike Jones, Jean Shepard, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and many others. Mitch Miller, A&R man for Columbia Records, was so impressed by Speedy's playing on Frankie Laine's 1951 recording of "Hey Good Lookin" that he paid him double on that session as well as future sessions. In 1950, Leo Fender gave Jimmy Bryant the very first Fender he built because Jimmy helped him out with advice and fine-tuning in his design and play-ability while it was being built. In 2003, Jimmy was posthumously honored by The Fender Guitar Co. They built a Jimmy Bryant Signature Telecaster in their Custom Shop.
This really sucks. I bet Scottfromwyoming loaded it on a dare.
