Sinéad O’Connor is far from my favourite singer HOWEVER I think this track is one that makes me stop, listen and think what a shame her passing was.
quite shocking to read terrible reviews, I think it’s amazing, passionate, original and yes, Irish. The negative Nellie’s need to do some traveling.

Haunting, beautiful song, sung with such emotion. RIP Sinead.

Such a great song. Regrettably this effort is turgid.
Far from my fav Sinead track, but powerful and passionate, as she certainly is. I understand why a listener wouldn’t like her jarring voice, but on an ethereal level, she is bold, bald and beautiful. 🔥
I'll go against the negative sentiments here and say that I like this rendition of the old Donegal lullaby. 7

I love this song! It's incredible how sinead's voice is so powerfull and yet so delicate at the same time. Actually, this CD was one of my favourites of last year.

Sinead is a good choice and even if this song is not an overwhelming favorite it's always nice to see another side of an artist that is not normally seen unless your a fan. Thanks for submitting it Kelli (even though I don't really like it - sorry)

I've caught bits and pieces of that concert myself. I often like Sinead but after watching that concert I think she often performs her songs with elements of this unappealing (IMHO), overly exagerated, cacophonous style that is seen here. I don't think I could sit through one of her concerts unless I sat near the door and could make an easy exit when my ears felt assaulted.
I only caught the last half of it, but wow! What a voice! You done good.

Sinead has one of the most distictive and alluring voices ever. The tone and phrasing of her songs are always familiar,(as are Bjork\'s, for that matter...) and on the surface they can all sound the same, but upon deeper listening, there is something great and unique going on.
