If I should die this very moment
I wouldn't fear
For I've never known completeness
Like being here
Wrapped in the warmth of you
Loving every breath of you
Still my heart this moment
Or it might burst
Could we stay right here
Until the end of time until the earth stops turning
Wanna love you until the seas run dry
I've found the one I've waited for

All this time I've loved you
And never known your face
All this time I've missed you
And searched this human race
Here is true peace
Here my heart knows calm
Safe in your soul
Bathed in your sighs
Wanna stay right here
Until the end of time
'Til the earth stops turning
Gonna love you until the seas run dry
I've found the one I've waited for

The one I've waited for

All I've known
All I've done
All I've felt was leading to this
All I've known
All I've done
All I've felt was leading to this
Wanna stay right here
'Til the end of time 'till the earth stops turning
I'm gonna love you till the seas run dry
I've found the one I've waited for
The one I've waited for
The one I've waited for

Wanna stay right here
'Til the end of time 'till the earth stops turning
I'm gonna love you till the seas run dry
I've found the one I've waited for
The one I've waited for
The one I've waited for

Can please someone take this wonderful music and write some decent lyrics for it? The music is awesome, but the lyrics are so terrible that I first thought it was a joke...

I don't care if we all have the same wedding... I'd walk down the aisle to this one too. Or maybe the first time I get him to put out :)

Already had mine, but now I think I would have used the tune that Pam and Jim used on The Office.

Love me some LAMB!  Hold the mint sauce.

Yes, I hear that, too.

And that's a good thing right?.....right?

nice...anyone have the CD? How's the rest?

I have the original debut album on which this song is (simply called 'Lamb') and it is excellent.

Brilliant song. Love the video for this, as well.
Lyrically this reminds me a lot of "When the World Ends" by Dave Matthews, although I may be thinking more of the remixed version from The Matrix Soundtrack.
At times she almost slips into Bjork-ness.
LOVE LAMB!!!
and very nice after family tree.

Is this song about the composer Gorecki (click here)? It's a fine number whatever, and an easy 7 with room for growth.

I believe it was named Gorecki because it contains a sample from one of his works.

Possibly the greatest love song ever, IMHO.    Mind you, I'm a bit biased, I saw Lamb do this live a couple of times and they were a wicked live band.   All that percussion that people mentioned in earlier posts.... kicks some SERIOUS ass in a live setting.    Ever tried to dance like a maniac while your spine is tingling?  Very strange sensation....

Not the same without the mint jelly... 6.
this is an all time classic, oh to be a teenager again!
Pink Floyd - The Great Gig In The Sky --> Lamb - Gorecki Worst. Segue. Ever.
Please make it stop. I have never given a rating below a 5 before but this is making my brain hurt...till the end of time...till the cliches stop layering...
I absolutely love this song. It is so beautiful. Makes me think of my fiance.
I wasn't digging on this until suddenly the percussion kicked in. Nice!

My favourite Lamb track. Yes, the lyrics are full of clichés, but they're also unashamedly honest and romantic. Must upload more tracks from this CD.
The difference between a cliché and an archtype is execution. What execution!
Ditto...sounds just like the Icelandic Pixi!

Very nice - "Björk-ish"
Absolutely. Love the percussion.
Very nice - "Björk-ish"
(Unbelievably low avg rating for such an awesome track... to each their own, I guess.)
uh 10/10 obviously

But why is the Genesis album shown at the top of the page? Just because it has Lamb in the title? :-s
Now it's a cover of a Lamb Of God CD :D Unfortunately Gorecki hasn't been played for a long time :(

For my money, this song needs a few more clichés.
Great great song, if only for its connection with La Femme Nikita, the TV show, RIP.
i found this in the days of napster looking for gems by my bud gorecki and found lamb. bought everything they ever touched. stunning. like a string of pearls against damp dark skin or that last lilac tinge in a sunset. can't get enough of it.
(from the great debut album)

There's certainly a strong connection to at least one of the songs on the Moulin Rouge soundtrack. Some of the lyrics and some riffs. Anyone know just how that came about?
They used parts of this song in Moulin Rouge - that's how :-)

this is just lovely. i love it when lamb comes on every now and again. i know this isn't her, but the vocals remind me so much of amy correia, who did some solo stuff a few years ago (and now seems to have disappeared completely)... anyone else know her or have any of her tracks? she had one song in particular about inheriting a bicycle from her uncle that was so good...
I kind of think there's one too many things going on in this song. I can't put my finger on it, but one of the layers of sound has put it over the edge for me. :-k
Someone slay this lamb. time for "silence of the lambs" etc...
Amazingly beautiful!
This was the first Lamb song I heard, and it turned me into a fan right away. Their lyrics are often cliche, but it's wicked stuff for the textures and blends of sounds...Excellent basslines too.
