My wife and I went to see them earlier this year, and their show was just amazing. We had so much fun, I hope they come through here again.
video of live performance: (click here) they do something pretty interesting with a camera midway through.

Rockin' and hilarious. I couldn't do Move #4!!
#4 must be for advanced groupie-types only...
Lots of haters out there, but if you haven't closed your mind and plugged your ears yet, check out the concert video. I love the percussive performance art genre, including the Stomp gang and Keller Williams.
no i see spinning spears and flying swords too. or maybe i just forgot to take my medication.

I completely agree! Moreover, it's a bit odd to hear this noise directly after Pink Floyd - Have A Cigar ...
if anybody claims that they're not doing all this shit at their work desk, they're a big fat liar.
I'm biased on this one. As a martial artist, my demo team uses this song as the background for our public demos. I may be the only one here who sees spinning spears and flying swords when I hear this!
It better live -- with the various stagecraft which they use. And of course the Blue Splashing Paint. In a moment, it will be time to execute Rock Concert Movement Number 9 ... "Repeat After Me: Number Nine, Number Nine, Number Nine" ...

LRC Movement #1:
It's not even kitschy. It's just lame.
Too bad this isn't Video Paradise so we could see what tha hell...

Finger by Smith&Wesson maybe.

I've no idea what they do with this song during the show, but it definitely doesn't work by itself. Please, no more.

Yeah, without the silly face paint and body stockings, it's just not the same. Should stay in Vegas, since they are essentially circus freaks. FUN though!

And cutting them off before the Cigar was finished was quite, umm grotesque?

Ah, but that has been overwritten in my mind by all the references in "Arrested Development."
I just blue myself! ~ Tobias FÃŒnke
I enjoy this song, a bit fun, but am glad it's rarely played as it could easily get old.
Next move... Point finger into ears. Push In. Ready, Go!

Which Rock Concert Movement involves spewing Captain Crunch?
Blue Man Poop!
I didn't know Blue man group was musical. Cause once you go to Vegas your musical career is pretty much over.
what?!? floyd to this! shighty

I've seen "Weird Al" do that on stage, actually. Looks painful.
The theatrical aspects of their live performance is worth the ticket price, but the music by itself is pure and I dont mean that in a gouda way

This is incredible. The social comentary alone makes it worth an 8. Then there is the rythim and the laugh.
Rock concert movement number 37, paint your face blue and pretend you're the next Kiss.
happy, fun, music.........cool! wish I wasn't sitting at this desk! my mind is elsewhere!
This is horrible.
I really wish my first exposure to Blue Man Group hadn't been Pentium III commercials.
I'm going to really have to rethink my opinion of this group. I always thought they were kind of cheesy, but what I've heard of them here is changing my mind.

Try locking your keys in the ignition. With the motor running. Oh, and it was about 17 degrees F. Missed half of Twisted Sister. Didn't thaw out until halfway through Iron Maiden.

Rock Concert Movement Number 7: Stopping by a greasy spoon for some late-night food and hurling in the parking lot afterwards.
My wife and I went to see a traveling "Blue Man" concert and they played all of this Cheesy stuff. We actually left 20 minutes in to the show - feeling almost insulted at this Mickey Mouse, lowest common denominator music. I love the "Blue Man Group", but the traveling Blue Dork group.
Going to see these guys again in Feb. FUN SHOW!

Great subtle comment. These guys are definitely funnier than John Kerry.

Huh. I always thought rock concert movement #1 was putting a few tabs of LSD on the tongue. All this time I've been doing it wrong.
We saw them on shrooms. It's been a looonnng time.
You had to be there! Incredible energy in the live show...and this takes me back. To each his or her own, but I say, if you've ever seen them in concert, you MIGHT appreciate this more. IMHO.
It's got good bass. Ideal for testing speakers ^^

Fun little song!

Makes me want to get on the next fight to Vegas and take in a show...
These remind me of Statler and Waldorf commenting that the recording of Kermit the Frog's rendition of Happy Feet on the Muppet Show album doesn't make much sense on a record. Guess I have to picture the Intel commercials for these to be enjoyable.
How many Blue Man Groups are there these days anyway? 5?
Reminds me of the old days when the song used to tell you how to dance. Like Peppermint Twist or that train thing by Lulu etc. Just that now its with electronic music
All their songs sound the same. None good. YUK!
I'll be seeing these folks in couple of days in Vegas. I hadn't realized they had an album. Hoping to pass on a more informed decision then.
Never saw anyone at a concert do the "behind the head leg stretch". I am SO going to the wrong concerts.
Reminds me of those aerobics videos from the 1970s.

you have to see the whole Blue Man performance--it's really well done IMO. Out of context it can sound kinda cheesy. I think the DVD this is on is called Complex Rock Tour.
Hey! I can DO this!!! (various dancing emoticons)

So are they like Tony Clifton, Menudo or the Globetrotters in that the performers are constantly changing? Or do you fill in when one of them is sick or needs a day off? I'm just curious whether this act keeps going or does it end at some point.
actual actors change all the time...and said actors are usually at a financial level where they cannot afford to be sick, and just accept that days off are not in their cards. "days off" mean they can't get work :)
I would like this song a lot better if there was no talking. I don't like talking during songs.
Ok, OK!! After those three songs I am out of bed now!!!

From the first line of the lyrics, this has me hooked! love it baby! loveable cheese fest.
Love it!

Love the Blue.....Ready Go!!!!!!!!
Check out The Complex Rock Tour Live DVD. Pretty cool stuff. The cover of "Baba O'Reilly" rocks.
OMG this sucks beyond belief.
Kinda catchy, but also really cheesy.
Blue Man, Blue Man, Blue Man... it seems to be an invasion !

#-o put on some gravity boots and repeat rock movement #3
Isn't this what they play on those "dance machines" in the arcades? pbm 8^)
a good Vegas act...Cirque du Soleil was better
Rock movement #9 - turn Radio Paradise off for a while!
PERFECT right after Fatboy Slim!!!!! Excellent programming!! (pimp)
Where else can you hear the Blue Man Group? I\'ve seen \'em on TV in the wake of a new CD release, but never any airplay. Radio Paradise rules!
Love the Blue fun!!! (pimp)
I\'m sorry, but these dudes have ruled performace art and music* since i first saw them over 10 years ago in Boston. I hosted their first unoffical web page, and have been on their street crew for years. THANK YOU for giving them the exposure on here! Most people still think they are just actors for Intel\'s commercials!!! SHEESH they are awesome *well, these guys and Cirque du Soleil, but totally different genres. i WILL be a blue man within the next 5 years...
Help I can\'t get my leg back down! (pimp)
Ack! When I tried rock movement #3, gravity failed to bring me back down! What do I do now?
This is actually kind of fun. I\'m having my own little dance party at my desk.
Geting weIrd reverb here. Help!aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh
Alright how many of you are actually trying these moves right now?
I can picture BMG doing some pretty weird things to this. Probably with audience participation!
Nice melody, it\'s got a good rhythm, I can dance to it... I give it a 7.
This is more fun than a cheesy workout
