When everything we felt fails
then some music, soft and distant. sails
But it don't sound like it did before
then I know that I'm left with nothing more
Then my...own...soul

When pretty pictures face back
but your coats aren't hanging on the rack
And blue water turns to
a place that I can't get to
A place...that I...can't

In a room all I feel
is the cold that you left
Through the air all I see
is your face full of blame

What's left to see?
What's there to see?

(Slide solo)

In the room all I feel
is the cold that you left
Through the air all I see
is your face full of blame

What's left to see?
What's left to see?
What's left to see?
What's left to see?

There is an error in the library database - this is playing The Clash "Police & Thieves". Definitely not Red House Painters "Song For A Blue Guitar".

So glad to hear them. My favorite is "Michigan" - but its low rating shows that others don't necessarily agree, and it hasn't been played since 2004.

They do have three tracks from that CD...

...and you are right, it's one of the best CDs of all time IMHO.

April is excellent as well.

so, really, who's ripping off who?   and does it matter?
Quite nice - like the harmonies

Not bad. It's kinda got a Cowboy Junkies feel to it.
Certainly sounds kinda like Margo is singing backup.
Hi, I thought this was Andrew Bird...until the woman started singing, that is. Neil

This is not bad but if you want to hear great Mark Kozelek music listen to his next band, Sun Kil Moon, and the album GHOSTS OF THE GREAT HIGHWAY. Its a bona fide classic that was released in 2003. Bill, please play tracks from that album. Listeners would love it.

I agree that I hear a little Cowboy Junkies in here. But for whatever reason (my mood? different vocals? Not as much reverb as "Fade Into You"?) I find this tedious.

Yeah, I thought it was a cover.
I bought this album cause of Trailways, only to find out the rest of the songs were crap.

...as well as a similar name of a Cowboy Junkies song called Blue Guitar.

Yeah that's what I thought too, rhythm, progression, that slow lead running through... I do enjoy this song however.
That was great! I\'ve never even heard of these people before, but this one definitely caught my ear.
From a (pretty far!) distance, I thought it was a young Leonard Cohen, with a country feel. Beautifully done. A steelguitar can be a bit (too) corny sometimes, but the way it\'s played here, is tasteful and subtle. Moving.
i absolutely LOVE this song. i\'m so surprised but happy to hear it here on RP. good going whoever uploaded it.
