I can only speak the word as quickly as quickly as they come
Looking down upon the bed suspended by a silver thread I'm dreaming

From the feeling I had to be sure
When you know that you've felt this before
It's a long road
Long journey home

Trying to see poetry within the shifting imagery of meaning
Well if you're feeling hollow man just throw the stone to shatter your reflection... with questions

Well if you're trying as hard as you can
To see where you fit in this plan
It's a long road
Long lonely road

It takes time to find the place you love
It takes time to find the place you love
Well if you've got to be sure in that feeling you've got to take time
It takes time to find the place you love
It's a long road
Long journey home

Hey - the lead singer's name is Crispian! Good to see; there's not a lot of us out there...

So then, what you're saying is there are only a few of you—but you're a happy few, aren't you?

NICE! I wish WXPN (philadelphia) would play Kula once in a while!
Great band. Their two albums ("K" and "Peasants, Pigs and Astronauts") hold a prime spot in my CD collection. They are both very finely crafted records. This group had a unique sound that mixed many aurally pleasing classic rock, acoustic, symphonic and psychedelic sounds into a rich, beautiful mix. I wish they had stayed together.
You all got it right. Beatles, Porcupine Tree, and Floyd, rolled into one. Nice.
Quick, run! We're being attacked by Pink Porcupine Shakers!!!
So sad these guys broke up. They were fantastic.
Just a great album.

How to prepare Kula Shaker A little air, a pinch of floyd, early radiohead suited to taste, goes well with a 68 Beatle.
Very chill, perfect mood music. I like it.
this tune is all over the map. i like it
...But what of the poor Fran and Ollie shakers? Eh? What of THEM??
Great, very Floydian. This track plus "Govinda" are great, however the rest of the record is dodgy.

I hadn't heard this before... it grabbed me and made me turn it up. A bit different cord use than the norm (thumbs up) and grooving. Nice. Thanks again RP and contributor :goodvibes:
You're welcome. 8) Like Kula Shaker myself a lot. This is one of their quieter ones, but quite a lot of their other songs just seriously ROCK!!!

Bit of a strange choice, but all Kula Shaker is pure magic in my eyes. More please - how about "Mystical Machine Gun"? And how about some Jeevas - the new(ish) band of Kula Shaker front man Crispian Mills? "Teenage Breakdown" from "1,2,3,4" or "Stoned Love" from "Cowboys & Indians"?
Hey! Watch out , man! You almost stepped on my Kula Shaker! Oww-wuh!
Studying Heart of Darkness at the moment.
My local radio played some Kula today for the 90's Lunch
Unique... in a time of really shallow music, these guys offer experimentation in weaving a fabric of sound, philosophy and religion. I, for one, like the Beatle-esq sounds and the references to psychedellia and trip music of the early 70's...
"We are the hollow men We are the stuffed men Leaning together Headpiece filled with straw." --- T.S. Eliot So far, I've really enjoyed everything from these guys.
For some reason I keep expecting the lyric "Gone Again Gone"...
I\'ve been a fan of this band since I was 16, and this song was always one of my favorites -- the lyrics are pure magic. More Kula Shaker, please!
Wow, the only other tune I\'ve ever heard by this band was on the Scream 2 soundtrack (I think?) and I\'m pretty sure that was a cover song then. This one, ehh...there\'s not really much going on in it. I\'ve tried, but I\'m not feeling it.
yuck, get it off
Something about this tune that reminds me of tunes from the 70\'s when I was a teenager. (This is actually positive feedback.) :)
Great tune!
