EXACTLY what I just thought!  Actually flipped over to the web player to check whether it might be somehow!  Ack.  BTW, who did the original?  Not sure I'm familiar with this song.

He's got similar cadence and inflections.  This tune isn't quite as bad as what I've heard of Blunt's stuff, though.

See the mistake? I ought not have left her.

C'est la vie.

melancholic pour moi.

Nice!
This is very nice.  Haven't heard it before, which is why I keep tuning in.

Can't say I like it, but I like it better than all the people who hate it.
I hate this song with all my being.  I'm switching over to SomaFM for awhile to cleanse my palette.
Don't like the guys voice too much, but I like the lyrics and the arrangement is good, it just need a bit more ooomph! Gotta hand it to Bill and RP, they play stuff I've never even heard of which is think I just fine!
This fella's voice sounds like a slightly higher version of the fella from Verve Pipe...that's good, as far as I'm concerned...I enjoy Verve Pipe.

Yes! But for me, it didn't take repeated listenings to appreciate the new tempo. Just a minute into the song...
I heard this version first--before the original. They're both great. But this one has a worldlier feel to it somehow. I can't decide which I like better.
I don't like this voice. Remake or not.
Ellis Paul's music was cool about 6 years ago...his last few albums have been very lackluster. "Say Something" and "Stories" are much better than his latest efforts.
Like the song; don't like this version. In comparison to the earlier version, this one is overproduced and drags. I think they were going for a more "retrospective, funky" groove. And missed.

If anybody out there has "Tasty", that would be a sweet upload...not a sweet mistake.

eh, i like the original better.

That's EXACTLY why I can't take it. Although it's pure Rod Stewart for me.

What the f*** is everybody complaining about here?!? :frustrated: This is very, very good music!!! :notworthy: I'm glad I discovered Ellis Paul, this track and other ones, through RP!!! This is awesome music. He's a very, very good singer, and his songs are more than interesting to say the least. Good, very good thing that people with a *real* talent like EP get "air"play ("wire"play?) on stations like RP!!! :bounce:

Yuck. This remake is a mistake, and not a sweet one.
I think I prefer the peppy version - still pretty fab, though.

What a talented singer and performer he is. Great rough, but at the same time, sweet, melodic voice. The same goes for the song. He really \"carries\" it.

NO NO NO NO NO, NOT ANOTHER ONE!!!!!! Damn, haven\'t we heard the original version enough already. I need some of that change he is singing \'bout.
I like this version every bit as much, but the tempo is a little slower.
