Repetitive = obnoxious. Don't believe me? Tell a 2 year "no" and see how long you can tolerate the bombardment of "why?"s flying atcha.
Ding dong, ding dong. Wow, a song based around two notes with some typical stereo-electronica throne around it. This song was just SAD before, but with invention of Garage Band, I could recreate this and 15 like it in on a single rainy afternoon. Does this mean if I come with a cool name like Underworld did, I can be featured on radioparadise too?
This the most boring song Ever!!! :grumpy.gif: :headache.gif:
Reminds of the feel of St. Germain's "Tourist" album. Very cool and sophisticated groove with jazz inflections.
Isn't this just elevator music with a beat?

Yeah, I think that's Jean-Luc Ponty... can't name the track tho'...
"Individual Choice" from the 1983 album similarly titled. Boy, that's a nice call. It didn't cross my mind until I read the post, but you're right, there is some similarity there.

Actually, this reminds me of Stereolab or Steve Reich. I like it.
hey, how about some stereolab? steve reich is very cool too, but he probably would get generally dissed around these parts. .
The endless grandfather-clock-like chimes! Aaaaaaaaaagh! :x
Yeah, Phillip Glass conducting Sterolab...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Actually, this reminds me of Stereolab or Steve Reich. I like it.

Very mesmirizing...like a cross between Pat Matheny and Moby!
Yeah, I was thinking cross between Metheny, or Keith Jarrett, and something or other.

I dig it.
me too.
I lost interest in Underworld after they released Beaucoup Fish, but this and some of the other newer ones are starting to slowly grow on me. Alas they're still nowhere near as good as anything off Dubno or Second Toughest...
This song just went from painfully boring to painfully annoying! :grumpy.gif:
Am I wrong, or has this boring music been going on for hours?
I dig it.

Without a doubt - I absolutely agree. Drains my reserve of tolerence to near empty. Don't mind the style and I can handle simple repetitive stuff but boy there's absolutely no let-up to this songs monotony.

I like it. Great counterpoint to the singer-songwriter stuff too.
Very much so.

Very cool.
Probably the most boring piece of music I\'ve ever listened to.
Great music for driving or any process of \"Making it So !\"
I like it. Great counterpoint to the singer-songwriter stuff too.
I'm thinking I'm starting to like this band. I've checked out groove salad also but doesn't keep me for very long and end up back here.
I was thinking of Pat Metheny as well when this started.... then the intro kinda went on forever and it became a bit more obviously electro/ambient. But that\'s okay with me as well. When I\'m not tuned to Radio Paradise it\'s Groove Salad, SomaFM. I could imagine this on their playlist as well.
Sounds like Pat Metheny minus 1. Guess I need to get out my guitar to make this sound like anything.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... TORTOISE we definitely need to hear some Tortoise around here. amazing band.

Thought this sounded familiar.. although I\'m always into their more dancy stuff... one in particular that I\'d not heard till recently \"Two Months Off\" which is soo full of energy.... if you get a chance to see the video (hint go to https://www.sputnik7.com) you can see the energy... incredible beat...
how about something off of Beaucoup Fish also?
There is so little Underworld that I don\'t like because for a electronic band they have a bit more depth and soul than so many others. They also do wonderful experiments with non electronic instruments as sounds in addition to the technology that they use.
Look at the studiocam, Bill's up and dancing too! Of course, when this is next played, he may not be. At least not in the picture any longer. Maybe metaphorically by that time. ;) Lovin RP. Thanks Bill and Rebecca.
This is groovetastic!
Very much reminds me of Chicane
I like how Underworld went this direction with their music, and I also like Underworld of the 80\'s too, the song Underneath The Radar is awesome! And what about Freur, let\'s hear the song Doot-Doot! :p
