I was just wondering what sort of person gives this crappy song a 10. \"Godlike\"?!! No matter how much you appreciate the lyrics, which I do, and even if you can listen to this song without hurting, which I can\'t, let\'s get some perspective. If Tom Petty has any song that qualifies as \"Godlike\", this is not it.

Yeah the lyrics are good.... but the music is sooo bad. Not my fave Tom Petty song....

Tom has done better - but the lyrics ring true. I have completly quit going to concerts. I prefer a nice club/bar with a good local Jazz group. Can\'t justify 100+ per ticket these days.

All hail Tom Petty for having the nerve to say it. (with memories of the U2 concert, $150 tickets, and the New Economy bozo next to me who used the first 5 songs as an opportunity to call friends on his cell phone and scream "hey! guess where i am!"
