I am standing on her shore
With the anchor and the oars
She's gonna move you like the never ending tide

And I'm standing on her shore
With the mermaids and the whores
She's gonna move you like the never ending tide

She's gonna move you like the never ending tide
She's gonna move you like the never ending tide
She's gonna move you like the never ending tide
She's gonna move you like the never ending tide
She's gonna move you like the never ending tide
She's gonna move

Sounds like Richard Buckner.
Nope. Only a 2 from me.
This guy has heard Lou Barlow/Sebadoh/Folk Implosion before.

similar to 'Bleach'? ... your talking about Nirvana right? Negative Creep, Blew, Downer, School ... yeah, this sounds nothing like those.

you know, when I was a kid NOBODY had the same name as me! I would feebly go through the racks of those little vanity license plates they made for bikes. Daniel, David, Dana, Darrin, Doug, Dennis, Dean... But no DAMIEN EVER! : ( I felt so left out. I don't know what my point is either...
I can't find BORT either.

And get it and get it and...
Ok this sounds like Jack Johnson to me. Either way, it's kind of... blah.

Pardon me for saying it, but this just seems like a Ben Folds Five rip off. :P :P
Really? I don't hear that at all. First clue is that I like BFF.
Open mike night.
Not bad, but didactic. This reminds me of mid-grade Pearl Jam.
8)
Yeah, never ending tide, we get it.
I like the guitar. I do stuff like that when I'm playing guitar. Simple and meditative. And it does sound like a "never ending tide", doesn't it? Gave it an 8.

Hmmmm... You can't strum a scale. And this is in G major. Nothing minor-key about it at all.
Mmmmm, strumming a sclae. I rather like the aliteration. Whatever the chord, nice strumming. (Not a minor, but I do seem to detect a 7th in there........)

The presence of *guitar* pretty much blows that idea out of the water.
I saw I rated this 7... Had to up it to a 9...
I like it! yes I do.

Yes.
I am loving this track. the loping pace, the waves of sound, the mellow vocals. goood schtuff!
Now I know how it got its title.
This rocks. End of story.

Now that would be a silly thing to do. :-s Personally, I use a T-square for air guitar. Scales are used as drumsticks, right rolo?

Strum a minor scale. Make it really drone-y. And add some really basic 'four-on-the-floor' drumming. Is that a bad thing? Not in this case... What a dork I am. As Bill pointed out...you can't strum a scale. Anyway, great song.
