There is only ONE TUNE by him on the RP Playlist.  PLEASE ADD MORE!  Thank You.
Most Bollywood soundtracks seem to sound like they have been recorded on a 1960s Ferguson tape recorder using its crystal microphone. I know they can do better. It must be a cultural expectation. I quite like this though.

It looks like there haven't been any comments about this for a couple of years. I assume it doesn't get much airplay, perhaps because of the trolling comments.  Whether you like the music or not, keep in mind that you can always skip forward or switch to another RP channel.

crap
How? How can you dislike this so much? I come here for variety, not just more of the same damn thing I have in my personal music library. This breaks things up so very nicely.

I've been watching your posts, and they are marginal......and that's being nice. Slither on outta this divine RP zone. Guess you gotta love the fun and spontaniety of Bollywood-AS I DO Good tune, makes me feel like dancing around in a sari.
OK, this is a little weird to read Proust to. Now I'm putting curry powder on my madelines!

This sounds like its from Bollywood. Anyone see these Indian movies? Ya gotta love it.
So this would be like Bollyville, as in the Indian Nashville. OK, I'm tired, I'm going home now. Promise.

There's more than ONE?? I thought it was all one continuous story!

I lived in Mauritius for several years--large Indian population. I used to love the Bollywood movies. They break into song and dance at the slightest provocation.

I thought she was saying, "boom chaka laka laka, boom chaka laka laka" :)
This is a nice way to break up the afternoon:) It's a little long, but quite nice overall.
cooool, heard this in a nightclub in Melbourne, Australia last spring, now I know who it is......thanks Bill!! :D
Oh yes, I like this very much... yummy vocals, nice bridge, urging rhythm, moveable feast.
Very cool groove. Reminds me of the soundtrack to Monsoon Wedding. A nice change on a dull workday.
"Boy, Apu, when they were handing out religions, you musta been asleep!" 8-<

YES!! And while you're at it, the Tikka Masala, please?

Pretty surprising, considering the source. I'm nuts over anything "Indian"....
nice. I like this remix, I like the vocals, the 303, the beats. good to hear something a little different.

LOVE me some gulab jamin! Yum, yum, yum.
Can also be found on this great compilation, called Asian Travels..

awesome, but i'd still love to hear more of Talvin Singh's own music rather than just his remixes.
ditto your assessment. i've heard some, but not much of his own original stuff, and i liked it a lot. i'm actually doing the chair bounce listening to this now. indian techno trance drum and bass, call it what you want, it is still damned listenable.

major flashback to bumpy Tata bus on the road to Rishikesh... or was it a taxi on the LIE?
Lucky duck! If I think back to indian bus trips I remember ear-thrashing extreme-soprano indian pop music, not anything like this. This is GOOD!
NOT ONE OF THE BEST SONGS ON THE CD. BUT AN ENJOYABLE CD OVERALL. IF SADDAM HAD THIS CD PLAYING OUR TROOPS WOULD NOT HAVE HAD SUCH A TIME FINDING HIM.
i like it!
sounds like a screwed up version of the Sopranos theme

Talvin Singh has a lot of better music, but this isn't too bad. I'm kinda diggin' Indian music.

It's refreshing to hear world music. Besides, these are the latest European (not yet American) club grooves.
:2dancingbananas: very well done
Just not my thang, i guess....
Sorry, not today. Maybe tomorrow or yesterday but not right now.
Pretty decent
Fairly typical Bollywood, esp with Talvin Singh, but very listenable -
Talvin Singh is THE MAN.

Love it.
I find her voice obnoxious
Not usually my cup of tea, but it does have an infectious bounciness to it.
aargh!!!
groovy
A culturally expansive \"5\".
I second (or third, or fourth) calls for more of Singh\'s own work, esp. from \"OK\" which is amazing. Anything from Tabla Beat Science would be great, too--either the studio album or the Live in San Francisco one; I\'ll bring the latter tomorrow and upload some if I don\'t find on playlist. :D
Decent, BUT not nearly as good as Talvin Singh's own work. let's hear some of his original stuff.
Nobody likes bhangra? (I think that\'s what this is.)
This is horrendous CRAP.
Bleah.
