In my place, in my place
Were lines that I couldn't change
I was lost
Oh yeah

I was lost, I was lost
Crossed lines I shouldn't have crossed
I was lost
Oh yeah

Yeah
How long must you wait for it?
Yeah
How long must you pay for it?
Yeah
How long must you wait for it?
Oh for it

I was scared, I was scared
Tired and under prepared
But I'll wait for it

If you go, if you go
Leave me down here on my own
Then I'll wait for you (yeah)

Yeah
How long must you wait for it?
Yeah
How long must you pay for it?
Yeah
How long must you wait for it?
Oh for it

Singing please, please, please
Come back and sing to me
To me, me
Come on and sing it out
Now, now
Come on and sing it out
To me, me
Come back and sing

In my place, in my place
Were lines that I couldn't change
I was lost, oh yeah
Oh yeah.

I would say this isn't entirely correct since the album that changed everything was released in 2005. At least for me and everyone in my room. First 2 were amazing.
OK  I have heeerd every post and this is.......Stop judging
They used to write and record some great stuff.  I think they need to venture out from one another for some refreshing new works.

This hasn't been played in almost a dozen years.  Did the Coldplay bashers WIN!

Now there's a cerebral twister for ya!
Nice song, but very played out. There is this thing called, \"Overexposure\"....

Watch out for this band! Extreme potential.
I have found myself with a copy of this album and I must say, I am thoroughly enjoying it.

Well, melodically, I admit they are good. But there are so many other bands working right now, who use harmonies that are so much more original, and who tackle much challenging philosophies. IMHO, this band has tried to capitalize on Radiohead's image a lot, but with so much more corporate backing. ;)
I really like it, but time for a different Coldplay song

Agreed. I'm so sick of this band, and of being told of their supposed genius.
i don\'t get it...this song is only rated a 7 and it\'s been played like twelve times already this year.

I like these guys but I do understand people\'s complaints about their songs sounding the same. Many of their songs have a similar tempo with similar vocals, which does get boring after awhile.
Great stuff...how about some selections from Parachute?
very, very good concert 25/02/2003 this band will grow to be a great band

Well, um, in this case it might inject some much needed energy into what seem to me to be pretty listless songs... However, I display the same lack of enthusiasm for most of Radiohead's stuff too, so feel free to ignore me on this one... ;)

It was so innocuous, kinda like Dave Mathews. Then when it started to click that it was Coldplay coming on, I listened and thought it was worthy of a 6. But now, I realize that the music is just so short on substance and relies heavily on that drony new Brit sound that I must lower my rating on all Coldplay songs to 3s and 4s.
I'm afraid I have to agree with you - I just don't get what all the fuss is about with these guys. The tunes are inoffensive, I guess, but...well, that's not say much is it?
A good song! Anyway, I would like to hear more songs from \"Parachutes\". For instance, \"Yellow\" what I think it\'s their best song by far.
As much as I love "Clocks" (especially live), this one harkens back to the songs on the radio from Parachutes - which just left me cold. Can't get into this one.
The more I hear of these guys, the more I like. Keep it coming, BG.
Coldplay are the best British band at the moment... just listen to this song... amazing!! Keep the Coldplay comming Bill.... fantastic
cant get enough of these guys. thanks for keeping us on the ball RP!
