Ooof, that's pretty bad
this totally sucks.
how did this generic fluff make it to RP's main channel? :? meanwhile Mum's "Nightly Cares" and Beta Band's "Assessment" are playing over on the LRC. both are far far better
Just like the band DaDa, these guys are one of the under-discovered bands of the 90's. Sort of like the Big Star phenomena. I hope we get a lot more of both bands on RP!!
Roger Clyne and the boys live are awesome. I had the unfortunate pleasure of spending 9 months in Gilbert, AZ, but upon hearing 'Jack vs Jose' on the radio, I subsequently bought all the Replacements albums and followed the Peacemakers with enthusiasm. 'Mekong' is tremendous, especially live, and the first full length Peacemakers' album 'Honky Tonk Union' is great fun. Re: King of the Hill - Check out the Old97s. They don't disappoint.
I love these guys. Granted, this album wasn't as strong as Fizzy Fuzzy Big and Buzzy, but it's still great to hear something off of it on RP. I'm going home and pulling these out for a listen or two.

Agreed. Lyrically and musically trite. To poop on.
Ditto. Ditto and ditto. I'll leave the scatological references for others - although this is a tempting song for their application!
Ahh! I finally get to hear this on RP. It's been months since I uploaded it. Thanks Bill!
Ahhhh, refreshing!

wasn't dead hot workshop from tempe? i really liked them. i know their from arizona. by the way, these guys put out a couple of really good albums...sorry cd's, awhile back and they do the theme song for "king of the hill".
Most definately Yes! DHW was from Tempe...they were incredible. The Refreshments did some really good work back then. BTW, Roger Clyne, the singer from The Refreshments, and PH, the drummer, have a new band now called Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers ((click here)). Highly recommended!!! Plus, as a bonus, since you were a DeadHot fan, Steve Larson from DHW is in The Peacmakers.

tiresome, unimaginative, sentimentally puerile
Great, he swears he won\'t \"puke on the floor\" I still don\'t think I\'d invite him to my house.
Very nice track. It takes me back to the unique music scene that emerged in Tempe, AZ in the late 80's/early 90's.
