I discovered this tune/band years ago, as I imagine others did as well, from its placement at the beginning of the U2 Live at Red Rocks video. Still great. Lovely and haunting.

I've seen Clannad last time in Mainz Germany, became much older... but all still allive, and they made such beautiful pieces of music. Still love Clannad!

For me it is too softwashed. No fascinating Charaker. It is boaring and has not to be played in this very very good Radiostation.Pit from Bavaria

Makes my top 50 overplayed tracks. 
Saying that it's been a while since I've heard it and it still sounds great. It started it's own genre really, and I have a soft spot for Gaelic music from many sources. Enya, Clannad, Runrig, Cappercailie, Horslips and even U2. Add some Uilleann  Pipes aa well and I'm happy.

This is a great band - very Celtic. Maybe too Celtic for most but I remember Macalla being a hauntingly beautiful album. We should hear In a Lifetime with Bono.
