Yeesh. Most of the time, I think covers are fun and interesting. But NOT THIS TIME. This makes the original song sound STYOOPID. Anything that forces "a kewl sound" sucks rocks. Please, Bill, never play this tripe again.
What have they done to this song?

For all that is holy .... never play this CRAP-o-BARFO again!!!!
i think once in awhile bill needs some negative attention
The original almost shines through, but not enough to get more than a 2.

I am only counting 38 ways here... :))
For all that is holy .... never play this CRAP-o-BARFO again!!!!
Wow I think that's the most '1' ratings I've seen for a song here so far. A 2 from me.
WHAT!!! you gotta be kiddin me, RP....

Yeah, that's something about this genre that always irritates me to no end. If you have to SAY how cool you are in your songs, you obviously aren't. Also, while I'm ranting, I feel if you're going to cover something, you should ADD to it in some way. I don't see how synth drums and keyboard are doing anything innovative here, and his hip hop stylings don't impress me. I agree with whoever said that if we're going to cross over into hip hop, we should play something more interesting and/or original. ok. I'm done ranting. bc
Here are fifty ways for me to react to this song!!!
There must be 50 ways to leave RP until this song is over!
I never liked the original that much. This is awful!!

i don't know that i'd go that far, but this is fun!

dammit. RP plays such horrible hiphop-esque music. i think they're actually turning people away from the genre with this trash. play something good. aceyalone, madlib, or dj shadow would fit right in here. but no, we're subjected to this...
you, obviously, are out of your mind.

And that's just in the time it takes to hit the "Review Channel" button!
This worked a lot better than I thought it would. And for those who never really liked the original, if I remember correctly, Paul Simon said he originally wrote it to explain the concept of rhyme to his son, which I think is kinda neat, and may explain why it sounds a bit different from other songs he wrote at the time.

This song is so terrible, I had to stop what I was doing, log in, just to say so.
I like the idea of these guys doing a reggae version of a p simon song sice he likes to use roots themes for his anglo interps. it gruuves, but the ad for the band at the end kinda sucks the big bush warmonger penis.
With all the good music that is available these days, why play this crap?

exactly, the controversy swung my score a few points higher. Not a bad song, but not great either. Probably would have been a lot better on my home speakers, not cheap little headphones.

This is, without any reservation in my mind, the absolute worst song of all time. It is probably the single most influential reason I cannot stand Paul Simon. To hear a rap version just makes me want to totally VOMIT!

Yeah boy howdy - I'll second that! (pimp)

"Covering" a Paul Simon song seems like a really good idea to me - and besides - this is fun! ease up!!!
yeah - you know I\'d never hear this except for RP - not exactly my bag but pretty cool :D

Whenever I hear a song like this, I have to remind myself that having a "variety" of music means getting to listen to lots of great music, but it also means having to endure some really bad tunes as well.

Music is great because (despite record companies) we get to hear different artists express different perspectives. RP is second to none for exposing me to new stuff, and i like it i like it i like it. too damn much bass. had to fire up the eq and drop off the low end. not like when i was a kid .... nosir, no snow and not uphill both ways... Cool tune.
LOVE IT!!! I am dancin\' in my chair!!! I like the comments in the back like \"choices like a mother\"
Give me the original anytime.
LOL.. This is cool! Even cooler that you followed an actual Paul Simon tune with this cover. Keep \'em coming!

As pointless as wasps.
i\'m not going to say anything... well maybe something...i like some hip-hop, but not this one. i agree what KevDog said.
Is this \"eclectic intelligent rock or rap\"?
It's a nice idea to play this after a reggae song Paul Simon did himself (Mother and Child Reunion) but that doesn't make it any better. What I miss most is the rhythm and key change when it goes into the 'slip out the back Jack' part.
This scammed a 10 from somebody g? Bounce... scram... uh huh.
this is awful.
I do not like the slow tempo of this song. I really LOVE the original and its joyous (ironic for the subject matter of the song) beat.

I think rpfan said it all right there. It's entertaining. Not something you'd run to shut off.
pure trash.

Really?
I\'m all for thumping bass lines, but this is pointless.
This is a fun little snack. Something light that you taste and say, \"Hmm, that\'s interesting\". But if I had to eat a steady diet of it, I\'d be anorexic.
I recognize fun when I hear/see it! This was fun!
Nifty. Wheee! Paul would be boppin\' in his grave with a smile on his face if he were dead!
Would be a lot more so if I had my PortaPros back from warranty servicing. The cans I'm using right now aren't quite up to the task.
Yea, those damn cans get you every time! It just chaps my ass, so much that I've been in the can since the track played.
If there were a Porta Potty nearby, I'd be heaving at the sheer pointlessness of this track.
this song sucks
