The band is okay and so is the singer, but he's not convincing. Its more like he just likes to hear his own voice.

For many years I lived in isolation in the African bush. Friends would send me CDs and I could listen to them independent of all other influences. I loved this CD and it was years before I discovered that according to some people I shouldn't love it. I miss those times. And do you know what, I'm happy to ignore 'some people'. Love what you love and forget the rest of 'em.

This song Live in Seattle May 2012.....Awesome. The WHOLE show was so fun. Production + music = BEST total concert experience, since I saw Pink Floyd (minus Roger) in early 90's.....and I have seen what I believe is a wide variety of world class, regional favorites, local favorites, unknowns, genre upon genre, over the many years. Radio paradise is the BOMB! I'm spreading the word! 
Following the virtuosity of Copeland, Kraus, Ma, this sounds like what it is: Cheap Chinese plastic from Wal-Mart.

Now that's an oxymoron! IMO this is typical efficient Coldplay and nice enough, but I wish that yer man had laid off the falsetto. Is there some kind of virility test amongst male vocalists, that they have to do a falsetto now and again even when their voices can't hack it? Morrissey was an egregious example of this, but plenty of others could be named, I'm sure. 6 from the Nottingham jury.

Seems so generic to me, but I guess it resonates in some people? It's too eager for me to read my jaded self into it. Makes me want Lou Reed and a Scotch.

It's nice, but after listening to this several times, it seems too much. I bought the Cd though, the only one from this band. I enjoy listening to it here, on RP, amongts other songs. In Chinese there is an expression for that, it's just Ma Ma Hu Hu

I am a coldplay fan. But this is one of the worst ones.
