So I look in your direction
But you pay me no attention, do you
I know you don't listen to me
'Cause you say you see straight through me, don't you

But on and on from the moment I wake
To the moment I sleep
I'll be there by your side
Just you try and stop me
I'll be waiting in a line
Just to see if you care

Do you want me to change
Well I change for good
And I want you to know
That you always get your way
I wanted to say

Don't you shiver, shiver, sing it loud and clear

I'll always be waiting for you
So you know how much I need you
But you never even see me, do you

And is this is my final chance of getting you

And on and on from the moment I wake
To the moment I sleep
I'll be there by your side
Just you try and stop me
I'll be waiting in line
Just to see if you care
If you care

Oh, oh, oh, oh

Did she want me to change
Well I change for good
And I want you to know
That you'll always get your way
I wanted to say

Don't you shiver
Don't you shiver

Sing it loud and clear
I'll always be waiting for you

Yeah I'll always be waiting for you
Yeah I'll always be waiting for you
Yeah I'll always be waiting for you
For you I will always be waiting

And it's you I see, but you don't see me
And it's you I hear, so loud and so clear
I sing it loud and clear
And I'll always be waiting for you

So I look in your direction
But you pay me no attention
And you know how much I need you
But you never even see me

Their best song. In my humble opinion.
20 something years on...hasn't sustained...I think the lads had a moment, but the world has moved on....

Jesus Christ, Chris.

Are you making a promise, or a threat?

Congratulations on writing a stalker anthem that out-creeps "Every Breath You Take."

Give it two more years. 2020 will make you yearn for the past like you won't believe. Or the future. Just any time other than 2020.
The band is okay and so is the singer, but he's not convincing.  Its more like he just likes to hear his own voice.

Meandering tune, lost lyrics, and awful, just awful voice.  Please avoid those high notes Chris, your voice isn't meant for that, nor are my ears meant to hear it.

A little late since most of their stuff (all of it?) has already been recorded.

Just curious; are you a member of the band?
awful band. how did Twit Martin find a band?
answer he didn't. he joined one and then the founder left. and also left him the band name, which really isn't that inspiring... Cold-play... the BEATLES or the RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS it ain't.
should have called it Chris Martin and his Coldsores

Quite catchy tune. Think these guys might make it big someday if they manage to write a few more half decent songs.
For many years I lived in isolation in the African bush. Friends would send me CDs and I could listen to them independent of all other influences. I loved this CD and it was years before I discovered that according to some people I shouldn't love it. I miss those times. And do you know what, I'm happy to ignore 'some people'. Love what you love and forget the rest of 'em.

Just an amazing album. Every tune is a keeper.

Nice tune, really channelling Jeff Buckley here.
No dude, those high notes aren't working. Is this a Dirk Diggler recording session moment?

I hate that the "we do not expect RP to play mainstream" only applies to bands from the last 20 years or so, but music that you've heard a thousand times since it came out is exempt. The only thing I expect from Radio Paradise is that the community will find well-performed songs, even songs that appear on Clear Channel radio now, and that Bill & Rebecca will mix them into the marvelous blend that we enjoy here.

I personally strongly dislike the lyrics in this song.  He should have been embarrassed coming away with that whiny rubbish. That's the sort of thing you expect from love struck teenagers not a grown man.  To paraphrase it "I'm so crap, how can you have something better to do than save me, I'll let you get your own way all the time, I'm inept".  What's he after, a sympathy shag?
The whiniest lyrics in the history of music.  This is the guff you'd expect from a 12 year old not a grown man.  "you'll always get your way, I'm so craaaap, blaaaaah".  Utter turgid bilge water.
Its ok.  Would like it more without whatever percussion instrument is making that clicking sound that pops in and out.

I was feeling generous and in a good mood. I give it a 3. That might make it the best Coldplay song ever. Or something.
Why is this being played on a class radio station?  It's just torrid.

Good tune.  But overplayed.  It needs to spend some time in the musical equivalent of the attic trunk.  Say a decades worth of time?  {#Ask}

So I look in your direction,
But you pay me no attention, do you?
I know you don't listen to me.

Did you want me to change?
Well I changed for good
And I want you to know.
That you'll always get your way
I wanted to say,

Don't you Shiver?
Shiver
Sing it loud and clear

I'll always be waiting for you,
So you know how much I need you,
But you never even see me, do you?
And is this my final chance of getting you?

And on and on from the moment I wake,

This song Live in Seattle May 2012.....Awesome. The WHOLE show was so fun. Production + music = BEST total concert experience, since I saw Pink Floyd (minus Roger) in early 90's.....and I have seen what I believe is a wide variety of  world class, regional favorites, local favorites, unknowns, genre upon genre, over the many years.  Radio paradise is the BOMB! I'm spreading the word!  {#Heartkiss}
Following the virtuosity of Copeland, Kraus, Ma, this sounds like what it is: Cheap Chinese plastic from Wal-Mart.

Morrissey was an egregious example of this, but plenty of others could be named, I'm sure. 6 from the Nottingham jury.

Too much yipping. Like someone stepped on tiny dog.

I tend to agree. Sure, they still put out a decent tune now and again, but I wouldn't really miss anything they've released after Rush of Blood.

Seems so generic to me, but I guess it resonates in some people?  It's too eager for me to read my jaded self into it.  Makes me want Lou Reed and a Scotch.
