Lyrics:

I'd sit alone and watch your light
My only friend through teenage nights
And everything I had to know
I heard it on my radio

You gave them all those old time stars
Through wars of worlds invaded by Mars
You made 'em laugh, you made 'em cry
You made us feel like we could fly (radio)

So don't become some background noise
A backdrop for the girls and boys
Who just don't know, or just don't care
And just complain when you're not there

You had your time, you had the power
You've yet to have your finest hour
Radio (radio)

All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio goo goo
Radio ga ga
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio blah blah
Radio, what's new?
Radio, someone still loves you

We watch the shows, we watch the stars
On videos for hours and hours
We hardly need to use our ears
How music changes through the years

Let's hope you never leave, old friend
Like all good things, on you we depend
So stick around, 'cause we might miss you
When we grow tired of all this visual

You had your time, you had the power
You've yet to have your finest hour
Radio (radio)

All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio goo goo
Radio ga ga
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio goo goo
Radio ga ga

All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio blah blah
Radio, what's new?
Someone still loves you

Radio ga ga (radio ga ga)
Radio ga ga (radio ga ga)
Radio ga ga (radio ga ga)

You had your time, you had the power
You've yet to have your finest hour
Radio (radio)
I always hated Queen's music all of it! And The 1992 Rolling Stone Album Guide gives them poor reviews for most of their albums, ony two albums got even 3 stars ,ost got only 2 and none got 4 stars and for good reasons too!

Don't get out much do you? It's bad, but at least you still have your sanity after it's over. (At least I do, maybe you're not so lucky.)

Agreed. Never thought much of this song, but I remember seeing a live clip of them performing this at Wembley Stadium, and it was very moving. The crowd was soo into the song. Always regret not seeing Queen with Freddie...
Meh. Give me a video of the live performance, and I can enjoy this song.
I give Queen a lot of lattitude for some pretty dippy lyrics, but this one is hard to let slide. It makes "Flash Gordon" seem intelligent.
Queen's music got so bad toward the end there. This song is a prime example of what a band shouldn't become. And it certainly doesn't belong on this fine station.
There are much better Queen tunes out there!
I'll nominate "Somebody To Love" (though I like this one quite a bit). As an asside, are there many other bands out who have scored hit songs written by each member?
I don't think I've heard this song since it was actually popularly played on the radio. Cripes, how long ago was that?! I can't believe I still remembered some of the lyrics. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, Bill.
quite possibly the worst song ever made in the history of mankind.
For a minute there, I thought he was singing "Radio Caca".
Queen should have stopped making new music after "The Game"

"radio gaga"?? You're kidding, right? There are SO MANY BETTER Queen songs than THIS <-(
I love Freddy Mecury\'s voice, but too much synthesizer! And where is Brian May\'s guitar!! There are much better Queen tunes out there!
As a stand-alone song, it\'s pretty decent. By Queen standards, however, it\'s a little on the boring side.
