You know I think I can recal hearing that BB King actually tought Bonnie to play guitar in some respect. Her father was in music biz etc BB would be over the house... I may be getting my stories switched though can anyone confirm? May be why they sound so fantastic together.
Hey! If this is an album of John Hiatt tunes where he doesn't sing - count me in 'fer a change!!!! Yes!

Yup!! Now if B.B. & his Lucille and Aretha did this duet...They would be burning down the house!
'kay, someone please tell me if the rest of this cd is as good as this? It might have to go on my Amazon wishlist!

SMOKIN' song!
Did John Hiatt write this song? Big surprise to me!
Yummy like a plate of gumbo!!
Can one wring any more out of a song? I think Miss Bonnie "left it all on the playing field" when she recorded this. BB must have been wondering "How am I going to match that"? And then he picked up his guitar.

There used to be a radio station in DC called WHFS (just switched formats) that back in the day would stream out long sets of Bonnie and Little Feat and the Nighthawks, with big dollops of UK music all mixed in nice and eclectic. I love Bonnie's earlier stuff like Give It Up and while I am not always in sync with her later offerings, there is a certifiable gem on most albums.
Old 'HFS, Bob, Weasel, Damien...R.I.P. :(
A standup effort by Bonnie/BB. Right on.

i saw a great show a the Memphis in May Festival with Bonnie Raitt and Keb Mo singing together. MAN they are great together! Now if only Stevie ray Vaughan had lived long enough to duet with Bonnie Raitt, then i would be truely happy!
I don't usually like these "duet" type things but this one is FINE! BB King is good with his duets and Raitt is killer anytime anywhere!

Bonnie is at her best when she teams up with these old blues artists. They both shine on this! No disrespect intended to BB King. I've been a fan of his for years as well. I fell in love with Bonnie in the early 70s as well frednic! I was the only Raitthead I knew for about 20 years.
I think there are more Raittheads out there than we know about. I've been NUTS for her since her first album! But I know how you feel....I was preaching the Bonnie gospel for years when people had never heard of her!
Bonnie Raitt and B.B. King did a cover of Dr. John's "Right Place, Wrong Time" that was pretty good. It was on some soundtrack a long time ago, "Air America", I think. I've heard a decent cover of "Baby I Love You" by Natalie Merchant, too, before she went marblemouthed.
Let me join those of you who have been in love with Bonnie since the early 70's. I'm so glad that she finally received the recognition she deserved, back when she won SEVEN grammys for "Nick of Time". Incredible voice, and phenomenal slide guitar playing. And though I'm not a HUGE BB fan, they sound GREAT together, here!
A great song, by great musicians, but it lacks the energy of the original

I fell in love with Bonnie back in the early 70s. It must of been true cuz I'm still lovin' it today. BB ain't too bad nether.
