Hahahahahaaha. This line-up has been great. Keep it up!
You can do fun things with an Aunt Jemima bottle!!
OMG this is just toooooo funny!! Thank you for some drops of joy.. RP does it again!
Very cool. Nice tight harmonies. It's good to see some "other" a cappella groups getting air time. Too often it's just Rockapella etc.

Most people listening to RP won't have any appreciation for Zappa, nor this song. They will be coming to music from a more-limited exposure. They will see it as the novelty it is when it is aired on a truly public forum. I just want to thank Bill for giving it a little air time. Next up, how about the original?
I agree with every word. Listen to more Zappa. His catalogue is massive, though. To me, this is a rare treat, hearing this anywhere but my cd player.
Thought I was listening to Zappa. Checked out the Now Playing and didn't know what it was. Now to the comment page and it was Zappa after all ... sort of. I don't care for this treatment of it.

Fred Barnes? Is that Freddy-the-Beetle Barnes?
You know, I just can't see Freddy-the-Beadle Barnes w/ the Persuasions. It just doesn't work for me. Maybe Jack Kirkpatrick shifting ponderously about the stage praising Aunt Jemima. Sure. But not Fred.
I'm a long time Zappa fan and I recognize the heritage. But this just plain sucks.

Zappa first discovered and recorded The Persuasions, and is responsible for launching them from an act in a little club where he overheard them to the roughly 45-year career they've had. They usually acknowledge their debt to Zappa when doing concerts. This song is from an album they did as a tribute after Zappa died, covering numerous Zappa songs. Most people listening to RP won't have any appreciation for Zappa, nor this song. They will be coming to music from a more-limited exposure. They will see it as the novelty it is when it is aired on a truly public forum. I just want to thank Bill for giving it a little air time. Next up, how about the original?
Not compatible with the Atkins Lifestyle. :headshake:
I have to think that Frank would heartily approve!
Hysterical combination. Great one or two times and then I think the joke will wear off.....
The coolest thing I've heard all week!
Let's wait another 2 years to play this one.
Fred Barnes? Is that Freddy-the-Beetle Barnes?
crazy and unexpected--but I like it. One of the reasons RP is so much fun.
:D Bill, this is a definite \"WTF?\" moment on RadioParadise.... \"MMMMmm, I love them hotcakes\" ???
