I was lucky too have seen them live at a dance camp, at burning man 2003, these guys put on an

This song is OK if your not listening to it. You see we just had a couple of beers at work and as I tried to work effectively I was really enjoying it. Then I made the mistake of listening to the song closely... The word bollocks comes to mind.

I really don't like the "spoken word" thing and whispering that are often present in such songs. Don't find it paricularly touching. Reminds me of really cheesy French songs that talentless, unable to sing, pseudo-singers often make. You can usually hear such songs on "soft-rock" radio stations back home...I have nothing against world peace though...;)

Yeah, it reminds me of "Enigma" - not a bad thing! - like "Fat Boy Slim" sometimes sounds like "Moby"? - A wish for peace in three languages? I like it! - and to follow it up with Alanis Morrissette singing "Utopia"? Perfect! I give it a 7! (If I were the programmer, I would have followed "Utopia" with the National Lampoon's "Deteriorata", but that's just me!)

Oh my, this is bad. I guess the music is listenable, but the speaking voice is so distractingly annoying (and cheesy!) that I can't really tell. This is a poor man's Enigma, and I hate Enigma...

Comments of the past notwithstanding, this song has a place in the 9/11 omnibus. Check this out: https://www.cyberthings.com/shalom/. I mean, how many other songs in modern history can claim to be translated and recorded in 17 languages? And how much Arabic do you normally get exposed to, besides the images of bad guys in the news? So, support the song on moral grounds if not on pop sensibility.

As much as I can empathize with some of the negative comments written here, I cannot agree. I love the Lost at Last sound (surprising even to me) and I appreciate the message and the spirit in which it was written -- all cultural distinctions aside.
