Cheer up!!  A LOT more people voted green bar than red bar!! 34 Green, 6 Red!

This sounds like Camelot stole it for the National Lottery "Magic Numbers" jingle.  Naughty, naughty.
I'm giving it an 8 just to offset the haters
This radio simply is Paradise.
Honestly, I mean, is it not?
Don't anyone ever get me started on synchronicity, while listening to RP, as it happens by the minute, most always and everywhere (wherever I go).  21st Century Schizoid Man or not, is the question to ask myself. The answer still would be a definite no, AFAICT.

Pretty good for kirtan...6
Play more Indian music please
one of the better jai tracks I've heard.

Adventure Time is so awesome, and this GIF is nearly perfectly timed to the beat of this tune (only slightly ahead of the tempo).

Ditto ditto! Plus, framed on either side by Loreena McKennit and the Grateful Dead. Find me commercial station on the planet that would/could do that.

KCRW Eclectic 24... but Paradise is now LOSSLESS!!!! woo hooooo....
+1 for the shredder

Might I suggest some A.R. Rahman if we are going to do this genre.

Boring

Emacs forever!! I think that regular expression format is used pretty widely... Perl... sed... etc.
Jai Uttal is an American born in New York City.

Seriously guys, there's much better music coming from India. This is what would entice the 'karma-tourist' coming to India for a month, IMNSHO. As for me, this reminds me of some cheap orchestra playing at an Indian wedding. That said, some of the comments here cracked me up. I mean, come on guys... Saddam, Osama? Jeez!

What is wrong? You need the anglo saxon filter for you to digest?
no, those vocals suck though
I love Indian and Arabic music (I've traveled fairly extensively), but there's a much better rendition of this song on a compilation CD put out by the jazz magazine Jazzis. It's purely instrumental except for the background chanting. I have no idea what the lead singer is saying, but his vocals distract from what is otherwise a very cool song. Bill, look for the Jazzis rendition. I can upload it to you if you like. (I didn't pay for it either; it came free with my Jazzis trial subscription.)

It gets really scary when you read comments like this, next thing you know people is stoning any man with a turbant in the street...So f...ing scary Indian music as well as Middle eastern Music is so delightful, full of centuries of tradition philarktos wrote:

After the last song, "White Bird", this is great, so I gave it a 5!
These are the moments when, regrettably, I must turn off RP. :(

Sounds like he's saying "I'm tired". I am too! Damn this daylight savings!
That is a band and thats all I am going to say right now.
Die for Allah by Fearless Iranians From Hell is the best song ever written. You should play that. :P Fecken kids.
Man, you need to get your cultures correct. Our great school system at work... This song -> India, Rama/Krsna, Vaishnavas, Sanskrit, Vindaloo, Naan Ossama/Hussein -> Saudi/Iraq, Allah, Muslims, Arabic, Taboli, Hummuz Actually, the same people singing this song are tormented by Islamists just as much as M'ercins are (kashmiri/pak terrorists) Too bad some M'ercins beat up Sikhs after 9/11, when Sikhs entire history was defined by being persecuted by Muslims (ehem, and later British christians) Ah, you mlechas should be happy to be purified by lord Rama's name ;) Spliff wrote:

I would have hated that a lot less if that guy would have just shut up. Just cause it's a different language doesn't make it automatically artistic. I enjoy pretty much all kinds of music, but that almost made me scurry for my MP3s.

Prefer Talvin Singh's OK...
Visions of Sadam & OBL dancing in my head.
This reminds me of Krishna Das but with music added. I like this sort of thing.
But seriously...

Unless the motto of the station is changed to \"eclectic intelligent music\" rather than \"eclectic intelligent rock\", I feel that there\'s too much \"world\" music. The guitar is the defining instrument of rock music so I humbly offer my opinion that radioparadise would be a better eclectic ROCK station if there were a lot more rock-guitar music. I don\'t know if it\'s feasible, but I\'d certainly love to see RP add a few more streams - including at least one that\'s more rocked out and veers less into non-rock areas. Thanks. Steven R. i really wish i understood what he was saying.. anyone have a link to the lyrics? I would imagine that they are somehow deep and meaningful (I would hope.. sounds that way)
DUDE!!! What is this??

I like it more each time I hear it. :)

Totally agree!
Absolutely dreadful! This is not pleasant to listen to, plain and simple.
Cool - and I can dance to it! When does the genie show up and give me three wishes? For my first wish, I want every wish I ever wish to come true! Ha!
Interesting. I like it. This guy studied under Ali Akhbar Khan.
