If you can believe you're turning all the world that broke your mind
Then I can do something for you even though you're lost in time

You won't have to be my heaven. I won't have to be your friend
Daylight, daylight comes every time it's calling
Daylight, daylight it goes away again now

Don't let go don't let go of your heart
Don't let go don't let go of your heart

Feel like your skin is burning into many drops of rain
But it's doing nothing to me drowning in a sea of pain

You won't have to be my heaven. I won't have to be your friend
Daylight, daylight comes every time it's calling
Daylight, daylight it goes away again now

Don't let go don't let go of your heart
Don't let go don't you know who you are
Don't let go don't let go of your heart
Don't let go don't let go of your heart

Always interesting to manage to skim through the comments before the track really gets going, especially the negative ones.  Needless to say I was expecting something dreadful...which this is not.  I mean, okay, maybe not everyone's favourite...but really, it's not all that offensive.  Pretty foundational stuff.  What's all the fuss about?  I've heard way, way worse on RP...and so have most of the community here...so, just take your foot off the brakes a bit and just roll, babies, just roll...

Rule #1 - Never read the comments. :)

I give everything I hear on here a fair shake. Art is subjective.  If I don't like it, I make use of the skip button.

I don't love God. He's silly.

Great song for flying down the highway at 90 miles an hour...

And your doing that why?

I guess my Matthew Sweet radar is well calibrated.

Same here ! Wish we heard more songs from his "Girlfriend" album...
The bass line reminds me of a couple of Sarah McLachlan tunes.
Wow, whatever happened to Matthew Sweet?
This is like pizza with pineapple on top. Weird combo but it works.

This song sounded like it easily could have been by N'synch or the backstreet boys. Way too top 40/popish. Very trite.

I wish the backstreet boys sounded like that - I would have better relationship with my sister when we were teenyboppers

I guess my Matthew Sweet radar is well calibrated.

Seconded. "Pull the Trigger"? Dan
Ohhhhhhh very cool segue out of Miles Davis (BRAVO!!)
Cannot say enough praise about this group and all it offers!! Love the experimentation of their songs, great driving music, not too moody, upbeat, great sound. can you tell I am a die hard Delerium fan? Glad you play them-more more more (tora tora tora?)

careful...that's a dangerous question here on the RP comment boards! ;)
Indeed. Well, I like it. Frankly, I don't like to hear people imply that anyone OUGHT to like anything, EVER, for whatever reason, just because they do, and it looks like I slipped into that mode a a bit. I like it because it's not squeaky, squawky, or whiny. Of course, that's only my opinon. Are we out of White Zinfandel aready?
Great song for flying down the highway at 90 miles an hour...
Delerium will always remind me of the time I spent walking around Geneva with my iPod during Phase I of the UN's WSIS in 2003. Can't get better than that.

The same has often been said of White Zinfandel........................

Possibly my least favorite track from this album.

I quite like this song in the Poem sequence despite, or maybe because of, the departure from the rest of the album flow.
Matthew Sweet is "most excellent". cant understand why there's none around.

Ignore the rest of these folks... I'm w/ ya! More Matthew Please!!!
that's just one GROOVIN' bass line!
------middle of the road-------lack of talent, lack of balls, lack of taste, don't ya agree? lily34 wrote:

Lack of talent maybe?
Miserable.
I agree with Mary . . . but is it good or bad that I could not distinguish the start and end of this cut from the preceding and the following ones?

My favorite track from this album. I love Matthew Sweet.
fave song on this CD. love Matthew Sweet.
I have to agree with \"Mary\" on the female vocal: that\'s the big turn-off for me with Dererium - the over-reliance on pouty/breathy French spoken vocal interludes. This is a fab track, though, because Matthew Sweet is neither pouty, breathy or French. And all the better for it.

This is as dull as the rest of Delerium\'s output.

not bad. sounds a little like that Eagle Eye Cherry tune that is on the playlist.
