Not sure I really like it, but it definitely made me stop and listen (and look it up). A complex piece of music I can appreciate. There are a lot of layers to this.

I'm surprised to find that I really enjoyed that. It was like walking down a street and catching snatches of music yet the last musical glimpse fit in with the previous. Not the kind of thing I could listen to for long but it was pretty interesting.

This whole album is so great. This was the first song that I ever heard from John Mclaughlin and loved it immediately. I went to see him some years ago here in Toronto, however and was extremely disappointed. He was playing too much of the I'm searching for that note and don't know if I'll ever get there type solos. I can see how the apparent lack of direction in some of the solos can bother some. This track, however, is just sublime and so is the rest of the album. I would like to hear Pork Pie Hat off of this album on RP as well. I might have to get to uploadin'.

Really depends on what task you're trying to complete while listening to this - right now I'm attempting to restore a database (boooring and difficult!) and this music is really making it hard to concentrate. First time I've said I don't like the music on RP (except that one Jefferson Airplane song...but I was doing taxes at the time and not in a good mood) Rating = 3

I have no problems with expermental stuff, but that was flat-out boring....
The only reaction it gets out of me is gritting my teeth. However, that\'s why I listen to RP. You get exposed to lots of different music - ones you hate & ones you love.
Been listening to this album since it was first released on vinyl way back when. I\'ve never heard anything from it played before on the radio.

Awesome assemblage of instruments - disparate at times and completely in synch at other times. Complex music that I love and appreciate.

Contitution Hall \'73 ..\'74? Center floor, vitiman Q, the violin/keyboard/guitar all sounded the same and lifted us to a higher plane. Thought we had seen the center of the universe. Thanks Bill.
