Keep on runnin'
Keep on hidin'
One fine day I'm gonna be the one
To make you understand
Oh yeah
I'm gonna be your man
Hey hey hey
Everyone is talkin' about me
Makes me feel so bad
Hey hey hey
Everyone is laughing at me
Makes me feel so sad

Keep on runnin'
Hey hey
All right!
Keep on runnin'
Runnin' from my arms
One fine day I'm gonna be the one
To make you understand
Oh yeah
I'm gonna be your man

Hey hey hey
Everyone is talkin' about me
Makes me feel so sad
Hey hey hey
Everyone is laughin' at me
Makes me feel so bad

Keep on runnin'
Runnin' from my arms
One fine day I'm gonna be the one
To make you understand
Oh yeah
I'm gonna be your man

Used to play this with the boys. Bass, drums, rhythm and slide guitar. And a hell of a singer!

Keep On Running - Jackpot!
Makes me want to dance!
The voice of young Steve Winwood is fantastic. He´s a singer who can sing! I rated this song with a 9.
"Released: 1998"
Hmmm....
Played the bass crap out of this tune with a bunch great guys! Google the incomparable Bruce Bowland (Austin)!
That distorted guitar sounds so raw, probably abused the amp to produce such a tone
10! !!
RIP Spencer, one of my earliest musical memories...they knocked The Beatles off no1 in the singles charts with that one. Happy times, thanks Bill.
Lord! That man made some great music! Inspired lots of people to do great things, too.
RIP Spencer, thanks for all the great music!
Yes. More.
Great album and great memories.
I thought this was Daniel Raitliff and the Nightsweats.
Guess this is where he got his sound from.
It's been over 8 years since we've heard this one...let's get it going again!
Sound is very cool to me, got to crank it and bop  : )

It gets a 6 because, although I really like the music, the lyrics are a little stalkerish for my taste. I know, it was written a zillion years ago, but still . . . kinda ewwwww.
C'mon now don't play hard to get: just Gimme Some Lovin'!

Hehe, I get your point :-)

Little Stevie Winwood - always enjoyed this song. Simple yet nice melody with a neat little baseline hook.
And that cool fuzz guitar!

Reminds me of a time when this wasn't an oldie. Of course I wasn't one then. either.

Thought that sounded a little un-sterio phonic...but good to hear.
WOW! That one takes me back to my high school days (sorry to say)!
Wow. This one takes me back. A fine addition to the play list B&R
Yeah...keep on playing.
My first car was a Dodge P.O.S. that also had an AM radio that only got an oldies station from New Orleans. No other station came in clearly except Country. It was either that, or silence. So I learned to like the oldies. If it had a little more static, the flashback would be complete. Bill, could you work on that? ;)
