I can't say this song does much for me.

Dwight may have chosen to steer toward the mainstream more than many of us prefer, but he's a damned good songwriter.

Agree. I don't see the surplus value of so many songwriters singing this song, that might as well (or better) could've been sung by one of them. Just name-dropping?

Finally! Dwight on RP. :sunny.gif: Maybe I'll upload a little more.

Yes, Dwight, with James McMurtry, Mellencamp, John Prine, and Joe Ely. Most of these guys are stand alone singer songwriters...

good job gypsy222. i was frantically searching on amazon too!!
(click here) This is what I found on Amazon...hmmmmmm. I might look into getting this! VERY COOL!
awesome line-up...I hear McMurtry, Mellencamp, Yoakum.....who are these guys?
"The Song was written by John Mellencamp and sung by "The Buzzin' Cousins" (John Prine, John Mellencamp, Dwight Yoakam." (from a John Prine lyrics page) Hmmm...okay, more info: song is from a movie called Falling From Grace. Mellencamp, Yoakam, Prine, Ely, McMurtry seems to be the correct lineup for The Buzzin' Cousins...but...on a couple of web pages it lists one Mark O'Connor as the writer of the song.
Big thumbs up!!! Is that Dwight I hear?? Someone tell me more!
