Great to hear Zachary Richard on RP!  This is not one of his better ones, but I'm not complaining.  A little New Orleans flavor to start the day works for me!

I saw Zachary in Parc Jarry in 1978 at an all day festival called "Sur les Gazon, Sous Les Etoiles". I might have been the only Anglophone in the crowd but I had a blast with my Quebecois companions. Zachary lit the place up, and I have been trying to remember the name of that particular song for years... Just another way that RP pays off..... Thanks Dior

OMG!  Zachary Richard!  Right after Lyle Lovett... I think I might faint from happiness... Has anyone ever heard "Cap Enrage"?  I have the CD, but I can't find it - if I do, I'll try to upload a couple of tracks from it. Zachary Richard is worth a listen!

I agree. FYI, Zach has remastered a lot of his older material, for those who know him from "way back when"....They're only available on his website. *edit* not his best song...Bill needs to play one of his ROCKING songs...then perhaps the Mick Jagger reference would make more sense.

That is true. But in Louisiana, if your Mama and/or Daddy have Acadian ancestory, you call yourself Cajun. My Mama is of Acadian ancestory -- she's a Cajun and I'm a Cajun mutt. : )

He's Cajun from Louisiana. However, his family is traced back to Canada. I believe he attended (if not helped plan) a large Richard family reunion in Canada some years ago.
