I originally rated this a 5 bc it felt out of place here (it's a fine song). However, if they can "respect her butt", then so can I. Bumping to 7.

I used to see a local band in Bristol with a girl singer (in about 1988 ish), who used to do a cover of this song. They were called 'Sell House, Send Half' (a brilliant and memorable name).

This tune was heavily overplayed on the radio & I burned out on it! I have now gained a new appreciation for it! Great tune! ...especially in FLAC w/ excellent phones, amp & DAC!

Saw this comment in the forum and bounced over here to make sure that this really was in the RP playlist. I would have guessed that "Her Strut" was too embedded in 80s AOR for Bill to play but I've been proven wrong.
It's a good-to-great song if you remember the back-in-day and make your memory-lane trip fairly brief. Definitely one that Tom Cruise as "Top Gun"'s Maverick would have played on the local bar's jukebox. That's not something he could do these days as the Old Guy in the squadron.
I wonder what Rebecca thinks of this song...

He and his wife, Rebecca, put a great deal of thought into the song selection, the sequencing and the multi-dimensional segues (tonal, rhythmic, temporal, melodic, thematic, etc.) .

Reminds me of being an 18 year old paratrooper at Ft Bragg, NC and going down on Hay St (Main St) to the topless bar "Rick's Lounge", shooting pool, spending our meager enlisted pay, drinking beer and watching the girl's strut. J Geil's was big around the same time. That was back in the day when they played rock at titty bar's...
