Judging by the posted dates this one took a 17 year hiatus. I loved this song the first time I heard it. Can't believe that was 27 freakin' years ago!

I missed all the hype when she went big time with all the hits, the Grammys, etc. I'm usually not into that nonsense, and usually detest most popular music. But I recently starting spinning this CD after borrowing from the local library, and it has turned into one of my favorite albums.

I had a child in her late teens when this came out and I always thought that Alanis did an excellent job speaking to that generation with this song. Besides, I like the cut also and don't believe that it's inappropriate for RP at all.

So what's wrong with hearing a song that was played on "corporate radio"? What about all the classics that Bill plays? Most of them were played at one time on "corporate radio" and that's where we heard them for the first time. In regards to this song....not one of her best, but not too bad. Patti M. 8^)

Looking back on it, her music probably isn\'t that bad. In 1995/6, though, you couldn\'t listen to the radio for more than 15 minutes without hearing one of her songs, which was annoying as hell. Worse, I worked with a guy that liked to sing her songs full-throat. In the same room with me. All day long. Over and over. For months on end.
