That's exactly what I said while witnessing a high speed MVA in Hawaii. Perhaps because the vacation was immediately on hold and I was called back to my professional identity. To the best of my knowledge, my heterosexual credentials are impeccable.

Great song from an excellent band and incredible musicians. David Hidalgo plays just about every instrument it seems. I seem to recall some drama about Paul Simon stealing one of their songs, rather unrepentantly. I thin it was one of the graceland songs. I got to chat with them after a concert once for while and have a hazy memory of discussing this! Blew a bit of a hole in my image of Paul Simon...

'La Bamba' was getting all sorts of radio play, and the crowd that turned out was huge, with lots of families and all ages. It was a great show. I've seen them a half dozen times since, and every time has been a blast! Great musicians, and really good people!

That's ridiculo...and there are two lead singers but you obviously mean David Hidalgo. His voice might not be the most stellar but jeez, the guy is a virtuoso musician and amazing songwriter. He's got to be Pavarotti, too?

I've been fortunate enough to see both Los Lobos and Subdudes live. Both EXCELLENT live acts.
Not very original but easy on the ear.Like it.
