When driving across the western US, I tried to listen to the hispanic radio stations. The music wasn't any better, but at least I didn't understand the lyrics.

It's a stuffed beer battered deep fried chicken breast. The description makes it sound a little more interesting and I don't think it's a frozen thing off a truck but it sure could be. But yeah it looks pretty Swansony. The potatoes look lumpy tho. That is somehow a good sign, these days.

So far, these are all different restaurants. The art of food photography is LOST.

Mostly I'm mocking the rank photography.

This one *almost* got it right. A couple of abused chunks of asparagus, and some stray gravy. Lighting is better. Composition needs work. But it at least makes me think "I want to eat that now."

I wonder when "garnish" fell out of favor. I know they probably do actually smother everything in gravy, but a little less for the photo would show off the actual food. How about a wine pairing. Nope. Just a bare bones plate of food. AND YOU'LL LIKE IT.

I've seen shows on Food Network and other shows like that where there are food trucks and little roadside shops that add pulled pork to cheeseburgers or cheese-steak sandwiches, but that just ain't right.

Food shows just can't help but lard up the food. Of course it's delicious but you never see them finish the monstrosities.
