Not taken by me, but a colorful photo of a mysterious, local troubadour performing a wistful cover of "A Fool Such As I", with harmonica accompaniment at last week's open mic night.
Great set everyone. I love to see how the theme of "performance" has expanded through the month. I kept thinking musical on-stage performance but since then those walls just keep getting pushed out more and more.
Below is a photo from the DC Pride Parade of a few years ago. Cheer DC is a group of volunteers who raise awareness an d spirit throughout the city, and they have always have a strong presence at the Pride parades through the years. Here, the group stopped to do some aerobatics.
My mind went to athletic and mechanical performance. I just don't have much in the way of good pictures for that. I do have some cool running dog pics, but I haven't located them yet. Here's a favorite post-performance pic though:

Is that Tom Principato? I haven't been to the Takoma Park, MD Folk Festival in a while, but he was a regular and fan favorite. He played with local legend Danny Gatton on a coupla albums.
