That game was a SLOG, other than the big play that Stidham hit there wasn't much offense. Mrs Miser fell asleep. Pats don't have much weakness on the Defensive side of the ball and I expect they will have a better showing than the Rams D. Question is will the Offense be able to break thru the Hawks tough D. I'd like to see them get a bit more creative with the running game, see what Henderson can do in space. Running Ramondre into the line every first down won't cut it.
3 years ago you could write almost that exact paragraph about Howie Roseman and the Eagles. What I can't figure out is the dynamic of Siriani and Roseman, but Nick has about 6-7 losses left in his piggy bank before Howie pulls the trigger on him (is my guess).
Schneider has hit on a LOT of early picks the last 2-3 years. Now is when it gets tough.... because your coordinators get jobs and the kids all want their bag.
Very true, I doubt we have Kubiak next year. I do think he learned the Russell Wilson lesson, it remains to be seen if he can teach it to his crew.
Schneider is on his way to another Superbowl with a different head coach, and zero players from the previous showing. This, in the second year with the new coach and the first year with the QB. That is easily the top GM in the field. Darnold carried the team on a night that he had to, against all his 'ghosts' and against a team that has had their number for a couple seasons now. And what were his first words post game? - "great team win". This season has made being a hawks fan fun again.

That was the SB I wanted to see... but the Broncos could have been crushed if they made it. Still could happen, but less so with the Pats.
The Seahawks are a good team, who have been incredibly lucky (which is a huge part of winning). Home field came down to 2 or 3 plays throughout the year, and them playing at home vs. on the road is enormous. Their GM is top 3 in the league, and they have some amazing talent. Can't see them losing to the Pats, but I don't trust Darnold.
I say this out of respect, not affection... Patrick Mahommes looks better and better as these playoffs go on.

I was never a fan of the Pats but it's good to see Drake Maye playing well and succeeding after watching him get roughed up by opposing defenses the years he played at UNC. His brother Luke helped UNC win the NCAA basketball title in 2017.
Still gonna be a good one. Rookie QB vs the underdog QB.

Too close for comfort...Looks like it's between Miamizsun's Patriots and our Seahawks for the bracket win....
The Rams are really good. Maybe even better than the Hawks. It's always a slog playing them, but fantastic that we have eeked out the last couple wins. Also amazing I can get so much of the bracket wrong and still have a team left! Rematch in 2 weeks!

I hope the Pats don't look ahead to the game after this one. It will be a dog fight. Sean Payton is a formidable opponent. I see what happened to Josh Allen with the Denver pass rush and I see how poorly Will Campbell has been at blocking the pass rush and I think that we have more to worry about than Stidhan and the Bronco's offense.
Iâm not too too worried about Will Campbel. Heâs a rookie and was schooled by a seasoned All Pro Left Tackle-pass rusher. He will learn from that and will adjust his play hopefully. This was really a bad situation which we just survived. As for Stidham, heâs only started 5 games and is 1-4 so Payton will have to revamp and dumb down the offense. That could be a problem.
As for looking beyond this weeks game, Mike Vrabel had them focused on one game at a time all season. Should be an interesting game since we really have had a hard time there even with the GOAT as QB.
Itâs remarkable how an injury can flip the narrative.
