I never really cared for the Slits but looking at her now I can't for the life of me figure out why I wouldn't have at least tried harder.
I liked some of their stuff ("Typical Girls" is a pretty cool song), but not enough to buy their records. Some friends of mine were into them back then. But, yes, Viv was - and still is - quite attractive.
I tried to upload some Madison Cunningham tracks for RP consideration but I had technical trouble doing so. She's extremely impressive - I think she's 21 yrs old but her music seems more ripened than that.

seriously. drop the victim attitude. we're not all out to get you. all you had to do was post about Grace. no one was dissing her. she just didn't come up in the conversation. it wasn't that long a thread. but you had to make it a big FU to everyone. this is why no one wants to have conversations with you.

And it's not a thread where we list people who are musicians and also are women. It's about the relative scarcity of women in rock, and maybe also about how if there's a woman who's a rock star, she's a female rock star, not just a rock star. A few people listed individuals who make their point, but it was never about just naming women who are rock stars.
