Yeah I do like seeing the ones in my neighbourhood, as long as the dogs are in the yard or on lead. We sometimes see a wallaby but they are very shy and solitary. My favourite are the echidnas but its been a long time since I've seen one.

I can't remember what show I was watching but they are so damn intelligent.  The huge African male bulls protect their tusks and hide them in bushes around humans.  They actually know why they are hunted down and what poachers are after.  It's extremely sad to watch.
