My wife and I are both workaholics. People can't believe what we get done together.
We constantly wear people out.

This is a photo someone posted on throwback Thursday (Facebook), but my brother is the tallest one in back—-so it's family. He just turned 60 last December, but these were his young and carefree "post high school" days, and his posse was nicknamed "The Hole in the Wall Gang"

Everybody that looks at this picture thinks it's my daughter instead of my mom.



Here's around 1957.  Front- left to right- My brother, my dad, and the blonde squinter... me. My grandfather in the back.
Once again, my dad the fish hunter.
I have hundreds of pictures of my dad through the years of him with dead fish. All the way until a few months before he died.
Some of the great times I had with my dad where out on the ocean trying to catch fish.

This was taken when he was a sophomore in high school in 1943.
He worked at his parents shoe repair shop in downtown Anaheim, California after school and on Saturdays.



He joined the Navy just before he graduated high school....


Here's his entire family taken right after he joined the Navy....



He and his family fish and hunted to put food on the table.
And after the Navy, he fished off shore for a living for a couple of years...

I cleaned up some scuffs and scratches, and added a hint of color to her eyes and a hint of color to her lips. Otherwise, like I said, it's just a stunning natural photo from 65 years ago.

My mom pasted away last October. And I've been going through some pictures I didn't know my mom and dad had.
I will post some of them here soon.
