The ultimate goal of the Republicans is to shrink government by PRIVATIZING everything such as Social Security, Medicare, even the military. Which is all VERY

profitable for the top 2% while they will charge the middle class up the yin yang, like Health Insurance now, ie WellPoint is raising their rates 35% in Calif while they made record profits by dropping sick people from their policies.
Then when theyre in trouble they turn to the tax payers to bail them out.
