When a reporter tried to ask Trump on Monday if he would now make the donation, the president cut him off and denied ever making such a promise, even though he made it just three months ago, during a televised rally.

It should be 1/1,024. What a freekin joke. This is akin to a photo op. I have more native American blood than that but do not consider myself a Native American for it would be insensitive at best and disrespectful at worst to true Native Americans to do so, but hey shame is not something that politicians are usually concerned with.

I do think that she's starting a conversation that we need to have. The idea that Trump is the problem and everything would be OK if only Hillary had won is just as ludicrous as the idea that Trump is going to improve the lives of the suffering folks who were duped into voting for him. If we're going to actually effect change, and keep this whole sorry mess from just melting down, we need to think way, way outside the Republican/Democratic & conservative/liberal boxes. Recognizing that letting a bunch of greedy fucks in boardrooms & CEO suites make all of the important decisions is never going to improve the lives of anybody except said greedy fucks — well, that's a start. You are dangerous to the duopoly, keep it up.

Wouldn't this is be a great fantasy scenario. Warren gets the democratic nod and Trump manages to get thru the Republican primary. They square off in the first debate. Trump being Trump continues to call Warren "Pocahontas" as the debate heats up Warren respectfully requests that he refrain from insulting her and her heritage and stick to the issues Trump being Trump keeps up calling her "Pocahontas" Warren, says excuse me, steps away from the podium approaches Trump and as he turns she belts him in the mouth He goes down like a sack of potatoes and she stands over him and says "Go ahead, call me Pocahontas one more time!" Now that would be great political theater. As mom always said the best way to deal with a bully is to fight back.

I think she's fabulous - and shouldn't run for office. Just like I would've voted for Huntsman instead of Obama's second term. Too much baggage and noise that would prevent forward movement.
I really hope that out there somewhere is a secret meeting of centrists who have a platform and a candidate - and patience. Announce too soon, and there's plenty of time for the media to print lies and controversy. But, somewhere before 2020, they rise up and alienate the extremists on Right and Left, leaving those parties unable to get enough votes, and getting the "reasonable" members of the GOP and Dem party to coalesce into an agreement on someone righteous. Reasonable military. Health care. Education. Fiscal responsibility.
And that person puts their arm around Warren and takes her seriously.

I totally agree. I DO, however think we would be in a much better place or at least on our way had Bernie gotten in there. Maybe I'm gullible but something about him, speaks genuine to me ~shrugs~
