I wonder, too, if it's going to be marked down in smaller shops when it's getting close to its "best by" date, which is actually when you want to eat it. That's when it's almost runny.
New Moon is delicious, too, but Off Kilter ( washed with Pike Brewing Company's "Kilt Lifter" Scotch Ale) is my current favorite.

I think they vary by batch. At the Cheesemonger I pay anywhere from 8 to 15. I usually fall back to cirrus when it is 14+.

Same prices at the Chimacum Farm Stand. I was thrilled to find that too. Now I should probably go back to the Creamery itself and see what their prices are, but I remember them being higher than the grocery store.

now. We were in the local fish market (she's never darkened their door, apparently) and they had it for 20% less than her usual place, and if you're a "member" which in our case meant we waited our turn in line with good cheer, you get a members-only discount, so the Seastack Crack Cheese was like $8 vs $14 or something.
