I haven't read the Sookie Stackhouse books, though I know Zipperella is a huge fan. As soon as I saw that the series was based on the SS character/series, I knew I was going to have to give it a look.
The Universe turned me onto the books. I've read the first three and really enjoyed them. The previews look great, don't they? I'd forgotten the show was being made, and when I saw the previews, it felt like I'd seen it before. So I looked it up on imdb, read the names, and said whoop. Can't wait!

The southern vampire "Dead" series by Charlaine Harris is coming to HBO Sunday. True Blood. From Alan Paul, who created Six Feet Under. Should be fun. Somebody watch it for me, willya? We're upgrading to digital cable today (a consequence of a borken VCR) but didn't spring for premium channels. Typical cheap me. So all you Sookie Stackhouse fans - enjoy! |
