We are not a nation that says, “Don’t ask, don’t tell.” We are a nation that says, “Out of many, we are one.” We are a nation that welcomes the service of every patriot. We are a nation that believes that all men and women are created equal. Those are the ideals that generations have fought for. Those are the ideals that we upheld today.
–Barack Obama

It takes humility to seek feedback. It takes wisdom to understand it, analyze it, and appropriately act on it.
—Stephen R. Covey First Things First

Humility is like underwear; essential, but indecent if it shows.

The inexhaustible resource of spirit is equal to every demand. There is no reality in lack. Abundance is here and now manifest.

"The rich are always going to say that, you know, just give us more money and we'll all go out and spend more, and then it will trickle down to the rest of you. But that has not worked the last 10 years, and I hope the American public is catching on." —Warren Buffett

"Through the rise of proprietary trading at our nation's banks and the largest non-bank financial firms, firms doubled down on the accumulation of risk, much of it with little benefit to the real economy."  —Joseph Stiglitz

It seems to me that everything I am going to paint I have already painted. Something will "click" and an entire image will flash in my head. I then just have to remember what all the specific details of the image are supposed to be. I will often get stuck on a minor detail like the pattern on a curtain or the species of a background animal. It is very clear when I have the correct answer and resolve all the pieces of a work successfully. I just come as close as possible to what is supposed to be there.  — Mark Ryden

The author of that bit of insight is quite a famous German poet. That probably isn't enough to change your opinion,
 but a little research on the man might give him relevance in your opinion. Either way, don't strangle.{#Wink}

I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.
