I was watching a basketball game when a soccer match broke out on the court. Never seen so much fictitious floor flopping from non contact in my life with them.
Only place where you can kick someone in the nutz and get a foul call for you.
Loves me some Heels for since ever as in life. Miss the Dean.
Well, that was a sweet surprise - albeit a nail-biter. The first time UNC beat a #1 seed when ranked as a #8 seed was when (now-coach) Hubert Davis was a sophomore playing for Coach Dean Smith.
It was amazing. UNC was hot as a firecracker and came out the second half still hot. I didn't expect Baylor to get back in 10minutes. It was pretty rough inside and those guys were talking a lot. It reminded me of some games back in the late 60's when South Carolina was in the ACC. I hope the fellers can continue to shoot well and play that defense. I was pleased with the selection of Hubie as coach. Always liked him...

When you get 3 High School All-Americans every year, you're going to inherit a lot of attitude.
True, and few of them stay for more than one season - but that's just the way the game is for a lot of teams anymore. I don't expect UNC to go far in the tournament this year, but that victory was one of the most gratifying wins in their history. A lot of people were practically glowing around Chapel Hill yesterday.

Yeah, especially the arrogance of a lot of the former players - some of the most loathsome in basketball history: Christian Laettner, J.J. Redick, Grayson Allen, etc...

I like coach K, but it was fun to watch a bit of the arrogance get slapped off the faces of the people in the building.

Steph Curry made 105 straight 3's from the same spot in practice the other day (in 5 mins). The video is the last 103. It's crazy boring to watch...except that he just makes one after another after another.... Watch the last 20-30 seconds.
