I'm friends with Chris Frantz on facebook... I'm tempted to ask him how they feel about fans re-mastering their stuff... and why bands don't put out better mixes themselves.

edit: interesting, apparently he did a "downmix" of the above dualdisks. I have a few of these...will do a comparison.

I suspect the re-mastering isn't a problem, however distributing the re-mastered versions obviously might be. The existing torrent won't go away that easily even if the guy's site gets taken down.

I deleted the post because apparently, there's some confusion regarding what happened to the bust between January 2009 and 2010. Mediaite reports that they have asked the British Embassy (the alleged source of the original story regarding the return of the loaned bust) for clarification.
