All everyone is talking about is either the heroic efforts of a decimated dynasty or feeling sorry for a decimated dynasty. Ummmmmmmm Congratulations Toronto! I see you!

I can't be bothered with the NBA unless the Celtics are doing well. The league is so over-hyped and excessively star-driven. A significant percentage of teams are tanking throughout the season to boost their lottery chances and only a handful of teams have a chance of winning it all. The regular season goes on forever and then over half the teams in the league make the playoffs which last about two months.
I am not as interested in the NBA as I was years ago and I rarely watch games, though I still follow NCAA basketball closely. However, much of your description of the NBA describes pretty much every major sport in North America - to varying degrees.
Ten four. Money money money. I'm waiting for marbles to make a comeback myself. all the marbles...

I'm not a basketball fan, but with the Raptors in the Finals (first time an NBA Finals game is held outside the USA) i am paying closer attention and reading stuff...
"Here is the complete list of all players in league history to tally at least 30 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks and two made 3-pointers in an NBA Finals game:
Michael Jordan Larry Bird Kevin Durant LeBron James Kobe Bryant Pascal Siakam
— end of list —" (Tommy Beer tweet)
"Pascal Siakam joins 4 others as the only players in #NBAFinals history with 30+ points in a Finals Game 1 within their first 3 seasons in the league (since 1970) - Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (1971), Julius Erving (1977), Hakeem Olajuwon (1986), and Tim Duncan (1999)" (NBA tweet)

Yeah, the schedule just came out yesterday. That is from our local paper, The Plain Dealer. The guy on our sports talk station thought that the NBA was mighty nice to schedule the game on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving so Lebron could be home for the holiday. He further commented as to would he get an ovation for his first trip back or booed ?
The Q is Quicken Loans Arena. The original name of the building was Gund Arena, named after the previous owners of the Cav's. We would sometimes call it the Gonorrheana depending on the mood ...
