The commercials for "The Event" became a nuisance weeks ago. They're like highway signs for tourist traps like "The Thing" or "Cave of Mystery" without the cheesy charm.

I like Shatner, but I have a hard time imagining how "Sh*t My Dad Says" will be on the air for more than a couple of episodes. How do you take a Twitter feed and turn it into a weekly story that isn't just "crazy old dude saying crazy old dude stuff"? And something tells me Shatner will be phoning it in on this one, more's the pity. We'll see.

I want to see "Undercovers" because I like J.J. Abrams and I like spy shows. I will probably also check out "Nikita" on the CW. Can't think of anything else coming up that has grabbed me so far, but I haven't been paying lots of attention either.

I'll be checking out "The Event" just so I can see what the hell The Event is.

Also "S&%# My Dad Says" with William Shatner.

New "Hawaii 5-0" just to see how they screw it up.

As an aside is anyone watching the new series "Terriers" with Donald Logue on FX?
