Okay, so after a bit of searching (maybe I should have done this first), it looks like he's in a state called torpor. They say it's not uncommon even at feeders, but this is the first time we've seen it in 12+ years.  He's hanging out in the box still, I'm guessing it's warmer in there than hanging upside down on the feeder, so we'll see how he does in the morning.

So we found this little guy in this state:


I'm guessing he bonked the window and just managed to stick the landing before passing out. We left him like that for a bit hoping he would shake it off - you could see him breathing. As the sun went down and it got cooler I pulled him off and put him in a little box with some tissues to keep him warm.  He moved a bit, but still isn't doing much. I've left him outside next to the bricks where there is some warmth radiating back. 

Not really sure what else we can do for him. I don't really want to bring him inside in case he comes too and takes off. Anyone have ideas? 

And Birdio - tell all his friends we have two feeders up now so they don't need to be all pissy fighty with each other. The running with pointy beaks is going to end with some one loosing an eye, or like Larry here - hanging upside down all googly headed.

The last few years,everywhere I go people are hunched over smartphones like some deviant alien species that was bred with garden slugs.They are not human.

 I was a little bit perturbed when I couldn't even find out what OS I was dealing with.

OK-She can get in on her Ipad and phone which have the password stored somewhere but not her laptop.I think smartphones and Ipads are instruments of Satan and avoid them at all costs,therefore I don't know how to pull the password off them.
 Apparently her son wiped out the stored password on her laptop a few days ago.He's at work until midnight and isn't allowed to take calls,so I'm not sure what he did.

I was going to have her try a system restore,but when I asked her what operating system was on her laptop she said "I don't know.Dell maybe?"
