Fortunately it doesn't look like it's going to be a problem ,since FF 4 seems finer than frog hair, but if I didn't like it I'd have to uninstall and who knows what might happen when you're uninstalling one version of a program while you've got another version installed.
Yes in the FF4 release version they changes its updater so it is automatic only as far as I can tell. They dont even have the manual "check for updates" thingy in the "help" menu anymore

You might want to check to see if the Flash plug-in is enabled and that there's a binary loaded into Firefox's plugin directory. Also, you might want to check that there's no firewall blocking any ports or protocols that Firefox or the Flash plugin might use. Good luck.

Is that true?
You don't have to upgrade if you don't want. I made a separate folder called c:programfilesmozillafirefox4 and installed it there. I can still run 3. 6. 15 if I want and 4. 0 found all the working extensions, bookmarks, etc. and installed them. Then you can check to see if your critical addons are going to update or not. I've learned not to trust women or upgrades right off the bat. EDIT- For some reason when I type "c:programfilesmozillafirefox4 " the forward slashes disappear.

Is that true? Yes except that many of the add-ons have yet to be updated to work with FF4

Yes and worst of all the RP FF Toolbar no longer works and it did up to FF4rc.
