Wow how cool...I took my then 8 year old son to see Pink Floyd...Would have loved to have seen S and G...I think mine was Neil Diamond in 1969...I was 16.

Paul Revere and the Beach Boys when I was a teeny bopper.

The Rolling Stones at the Cleveland Arena, I was in the 16th row, paid $6.50 for a ticker, and Mick wore a lavender dress.

Guess it depends on how one defines "concert."  The first well-known musical act for me was Bill Monroe and The Bluegrass Boys when I was a kid.  It wasn't really a proper concert at a theatre or anything.  It was on the courthouse lawn and it was free.

Around '70. It was a festival of sorts in the local coliseum. Among others was Edgar Winter's White Trash, Sugarloaf, and a band called Cowboy.

Paul Butterfield Blues Band in 1967 if memory serves.  Gawd, that and at least 100 concerts (at least 8 Stones, plus multiple The Who, Bowie,  ZZ Top, and many other really LOUD ones) since then and what do I get?— Tinintus!  Seriously, not fun and makes going to concerts now, even mellow ones, impossible w/o earplugs. Madeleine Peyroux even—-jeez.
