Every nightmare or anxiety dream I've ever had has been directly followed by a bathroom visit. And frequently those dreams are about not being able to find a bathroom. Or at least one that works or that I'd be willing to set foot in.

I think it's the subconsious trying to keep the bed dry.

Amazingly enough, when I have to go to the bathroom (which is at least once in the night) I will be dreaming that I am in a bathroom or on a toilet in my mind. Eeeuwwwww, I know, but it wakes me up! Yeah, my mind is down the toilet all right
